I think the people in chat know about this, just not sure about those who only come on the forum. Anyway, keep my brother in prayer. He was admitted to the hospital today, after having day surgery to remove a catheter. Apparently he started having arrhythmia, low blood pressure, and low blood sugar levels. The doctors gave him to injections to stabilize his heart, and from what I understand he is doing better. Anyway, he is being admitted to ICU.

Ok, not ICU but IMCU?? Something similar to ICU but not as critical.

I'm praying for your brother.
When I'm going thru a difficult situation and feel like giving up, or am sad about a family member being sick or someone who died, I often look to this Bible verse and feel better:

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

LORD stregthen violakat 's brothers body and bless him with GODly love from all who come into that atmosphere and LORD let him see by faith that light that shines light on the truth and the way.

Ok, so the latest word is he is suppose to be coming home today after he is finished with dialysis. And that's per him.

(just fyi- some hospitals use IMCU for Intensive Medical Care Unit, and some use the acronym for Intermediate Care Unit)

I assume his catheter was heart, so still pretty serious stuff. I'll pray for heart and kidneys; general health...if there's anything else, please let us know!

Father God, I know your love for violakat, and for "brother". I know you hear us when we petition you, and for that I praise and thank you!
I don't know all that this man needs, but you do! I ask for your healing in his body, and for relief from the stress illness brings to the sufferer and those who love him. Holy Spirit, thank you for being able to put into the proper words my feelings toward this dear man.
Lord God, guide the doctors, give them wisdom, let nothing escape their notice.
Thank you for bringing violakat's brother home from the hospital! Please continue to work in his body and life.
I ask in the precious name of Jesus! Amen

Actually, the catheter was for his kidneys. They had to put one in his neck, since I think there had been some problems in the ports in his arms. But he does have congestive heart failure.

And thank you for your prayers, Psychomom. And to everyone else as well.
