I've been off of work since late 2010 because of an injury, and have been trying to find a job since I was released for 'light duty' work this January. Trying to find a job has been fairly challenging since I only have blue-collar work experience and am only allowed to get a desk job which I have zero experience for and am reminded of whenever I hear from a place I've applied. So far it's been a very long and discouraging process, but I know that something is going to open up for me :) I would really appreciate it if anyone could help pray for this- it was hard enough to be off work when I wasn't allowed to but now that I am allowed to work and I can't it's really driving me nuts! There's so much going on in different aspects of life, and to be able to afford the necessary bills and expenses would be extremely helpful! Thank you!

Sorry to hear things are a struggle, I will put you in my prayers.
Don't give up...God is faithful he can turn things around.
Keep positive thoughts and prayers...and you will find God's favor.
When you have His spirit in you...it shows in your attitude. :D
In Love of Christ, Shekaniah

I know how that experience bit is.... I am closing in on 30 and only have experience in kindergartens + some cleaning. The places I apply expect me to have years of experience. You just have to tell them this:

If they expect everyone to have expereince, they eventually will have no new people to hire, as no one can get it in the first place that way ;)

Praying for your job situation and that doors will be opened to you for light-work. Do you have any computer skills? Office work would be a good way to earn money but not stress your body with heavy labor.

Thank you so much for the prayers and encouragement! I've been applying for every job (that doesn't require breaking my restrictions) left and right, and I do have faith that something is going to work out :) I've been really trying to focus on finding different clerical or receptionist positions that require computer knowledge since I'm a little bit of a nerd, haha. One position I put in for that I am EXTREMELY interested in is an emergency dispatcher position. I always wanted to work in law enforcement, and since I really don't have the option anymore, I figured that it'd be a great way to still help people and still work in the field. I have actually considered using my retraining benefits from the injury (if they ever get a move-on with processing it!) to go through a certification program for Emergency Dispatch :) I'm praying that I hear something back from one of my dozens of applications soon!

Ps 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Isa 58:14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it].

Phil 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God bless you.

Prayer sent :) also I think you should keep in mind often times when we pray we send up our thoughts and when we are done talking we leave the conversation. Sometimes it behooves us to ask if there is anything He wants us to do and then sit quietly for an answer :) God bless you
