Thank you for looking at this post...

A young woman I know suffers from depression.
Her family takes advantage of her,
she gets worn out trying to please them.

I have give her love and support when I can.
But...I want her to learn to stand up for herself.
She has a beautiful caring heart and she is a new christian.
I have invited her to church, she has not accepted.

Please pray for her as God leads you...

She has to get away a little bit somehow, God always works in peoples lives when they get alone, sounds like church is what she needs,a little time for the Holy Spirit to take hold of her, and get her stronger. I pray to God to give you the foritude to keep trying to get her to church, and I pray that she comes to the light of Christ, and that her family realizes their shortcomings and the love of God.

Abba, how I thank You for Shekaniah! You are gracious, and Your Word tells us that Your mercy endures forever, and I praise you for this!
Please, lavish Your love on this young woman. Provide her with Light; Jesus. I ask that she would receive help for this depression, whether You choose a miracle through "nothing", or through medical means, Your ways are best.
Abba--You have taken this girl to Yourself, and she's Family! Another standing ovation to You, Lord! How I join the angels in rejoicing over what you alone have done in her heart!!! :) :)
You have begun the ultimate good work in her, Lord God, and I trust You to be faithful to complete it. Please urge her through Your Spirit to attend a church...accepting our sister's invitation would be awesome! Feed her, Lord with Your Word. In that I pray she will grow strong; strong enough to see that though it's good to love and help her family, the only One she needs to please is YOU.
Abba, I pray that the names of her earthly family are written in The Book of Life, and that their redemption is near, as we would count it. Till that day, please give your new daughter all help and wisdom and counsel in Christ, in whose name I ask all these things. Amen!

She some how seems more brighter today when I saw her.

Praying for your friend that she will follow only God's voice in the service of others.

I've seen family members that try to do EVERYTHING for a loved one....and that loved one becomes incapable of doing much of anything for himself.

This isn't always a healthy way to show love...even good intentions can be harmful. Praying for God's guidance in your friend's life :)
