We all fall short of the perfection that God would like to see in us. Some things are easy to fix in our lives. Others can take a decade or more. Luckily the grace of Jesus is not dependant on our perfection! So we strive to live our lives well because of what Jesus has already completed for us.

I suggest being glad that your heart is not hardened to the extent that you dont know about yourfailing or to the extent that you don't care.

If you need support, try emailing me or anone else who responds to your post. Im sure we are all happy to help one another and have been through similar circumstances.

Gen 6:8
"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Ex 33:13
"Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation [is] thy people."

JUST SAY THANK YOU ABBA, THANK YOU JESUS, THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT "

we all have failed God sometime in our lives. remember we are human and at times we make mistakes some big and some small but we do, no one on this earth is perfect, everyday that we wake up we sin , sometimes without even knowing that we are but we do, we all have done or said somethings in our past that we wish we could take back and do over but we can't , we have to pray and ask for forgiveness .

friend i know i have made plenty of mistakes and i have wished and prayed for the chance to go back and change some things in my past but i can't i just know that God forgave me and He will forgive you , the hardest thing is we have to forgive ourselves

God...is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of - infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts or hopes.Ephesians 3:20 (LB)

I don't even know what to say.
Please pray for me.
That is why God Our Father gave Jesus for us, because if we could be perfect, then why would we need Jesus. :)
Sometimes it is not about success, but simply that we keep our eyes on Jesus.
Praying for you in Jesus, that your mind and heart will be filled with His peace, rest and the delight of His perfect love.

God bless

Justbelieve, don't fall for that trap of Satan. God doesn't see or count how often we fall and fail. In the contrary, He says: "Get up, and try it again my child". The verses Sound7 and others shared are so true, and it's God's way to show you mercy and forgiveness and His love. Also, just read Pickles signature "It is in our weakness that God's power is made perfect!" and realize how true that is - if we admit how weak and powerless we are without God and turn to Him with a THANKFUL heart for all His salvation and forgiveness, we lift Him high and make Him even more powerful to fight with AND for us to face life's challenges and claim VICTORY and SUCCESS in HIS Name! Take heart for the battle is the Lord's! And He loves you so very much, no matter what. :)

God is a loving Father, don't worry. He knows our faults, and our struggles - be at peace

PRAYER OF AFFIRMATION
I am loved by God;
I am made by God;
I am forgiven by God;
I am accepted by God unconditionally;
I am a child of God;
I am sustained by God;
I am important to God;
I am used by God;
I am enabled by God;
I am destined for God.Amen.

Grant me, O Lord my God,
a mind to know you,
a heart to seek you,
wisdom to find you,
conduct pleasing to you,
faithful perseverance in waiting for you,
and a hope of finally embracing you.

Amen.

Hey, you know what?
Moses failed God many times, as did the people he was set to lead. Still he is referred to as one of the greatest people in the bible.
And what about Thomas the doubter? He questioned even Jesus when He was resurrected, but that didn't make him any lesser.

We should strive to be perfect yes, but if we lie down and give up. Your strength is in God, not yourself :)

i also keep failing God, but His grace is unending...He loves me over and over again in spite of all my imperfections ;-) you are free to be you,but when you recognize how God loves you, you will be more sensitive in all your actions...it's like...before i do or say or think or plan a thing i ask myself ''will it glorify God?"

Brother Josh, I can relate. :(

I'm coming more and more to realize one of satan's greatest strategies in my life is to get me to take my eyes off the Lord and fix them on myself. And I pretty much will fall for it every time.
I say to myself, I'm not good enough, fast enough, faithful enough, honest enough, hardworking enough, loving enough, on and on ad infinitum, ad nauseam. And you know what?
I'm right, more often than not.
But none of that matters, because it SO is not about me. It's about His goodness and faithfulness, not my own! (for which I should be eternally grateful!) I mean, outside of Him I don't even have any good thing.
We serve a God who hands each new moment to us and tells us, here child--a chance to begin again! (take a sec to ponder that one! :) )
He knew all about each and every time we would fail Him, even the ones we don't yet see in the future, or never saw in the past. It surprises me because I'm so prideful; it never surprises Him, though. ♥ Yet, He chose us! :)
And He is for you, my brother! The One Who calls Himself Author and Perfecter of your faith called you, and justified you, and sanctifies you and will glorify you.

I pray for us both, that we will look only to Him; focus on Him, fix our spiritual eyes on Him, to the praise of His glory.
Be encouraged, Josh! The Lord loves us! ♥ I will keep you in prayer, beloved of your Father.

I think you are being presumptuous. Like it is not your job to figure out how you measure up or not, and deciding on a label is not your department. Sorry if that is not what you wanted to hear.

You just accept His unconditional love. That does not have a label.

justbelieve.. be not afraid, only believe ♥

Romans 8:26-27
King James Version (KJV)
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

If you cannot pray, remember Romans 8:26 and ask the Holy Spirit to intercede for you.. The Holy Spirit is our helper :)

Even so, Please can i encourage you to seek the LORD.. to listen to the comforter, the Holy Spirit and please try to ignore the accuser, satan, he is a liar so don't listen to a word he says!
Listen more and more to the Holy Spirit of the LORD, who is gentle and kind and who will show you what you need to know to grow stronger, to grow up into HIM in all things..

God is good, full of grace and truth, faithful and true.. trustworthy.. He has also been were we are now.. seek HIM and keep on seeking HIM with everything you got.. even if it's as small as a mustard seed, HE sees your efforts, even if it's a little groan.. and you will find HIM!

He will lead you through the valley.. helping you to grow wiser, stronger and closer to HIM. And you will be able to help others.. all for HIS glory and HIS Kingdom.
Just keep going.. rebuke satan and his lies, resist the devil and he will flee.. lean on the LORD's understanding.. He is a strong tower and mighty to save!
Keeping you in my prayers ♥
GOD Bless you.

Jeremiah 29:11-13
King James Version (KJV)
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart

Proverbs 24:16
King James Bible
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Also pray out psalm 119 brother, God is faithful, he will establish you, God is able, may he guide you and strengthen you, in Jesus name, amen!

Heavenly Father i pray in Jesus' name that you may sustain this man, bring him to a place were he may walk in your ways which are pure and just, in Jesus name, Amen.

I don't even know what to say.
Please pray for me.
First let me say - Me too. And I think if more of us wear this truth like a badge then it would take most, if not at least some, of the pressure off. Not just the pressure Josh but the focus AWAY from what we can't do and onto what HE HAS DONE. Because really ALL of us fall short. And we fall short BIG TIME. The shame, the guilt, the pain, the glassy eyes (at least for me..when I sin I feel like there's a cloudiness in my eyes)...you might have your own version of the "shame-face" when you find yourself "failing" God --- they do nothing but remind us how wicked we are..unfortunately when we focus on these, the harder it is for us to see His forgiveness and to forgive ourselves.

HE knows you will fail Him.
He knew that the day he died for you Josh.
He knew that when he saw you "fall".
He knew every time you try to get back up.
And He knows every time you stop fighting and let yourself be carried by the tide.
HE STILL LOVES YOU ANYWAY Josh.
And how amazing it is that NOTHING CAN SEPARATE YOU FROM HIS LOVE.

He loves you so much that he paid for all these failures you are so burdened about Josh.

I may not know exactly what you are going through but I know about disappointing and failing God.
I know pain. I know spite. I know rebellion. I have slid and the climb back was guilt-laden and thick with condemnation both from the world and from myself BUT please do not let these stop you from pushing on or at least holding your ground.

EXPECT GRACE. Expect HIM to see you through this. I just came out of a storm myself. And the thought of losing faith seemed like the easiest way to go.. But where would I go? Where can I go? I can never escape Him. And that's all the motivation I needed.

I will uphold you in prayer. I am not much of an intellectual nor a theological person but I know the saving power of love, compassion, and grace. And all these things I offer to you in Christ, brother.
