Several weeks ago I got a word that the Lord was giving me new shoes. The woman added, "The Lord says ask Him what the shoes look like." So I spent week or so praying about it before He revealed to me that they were running shoes and He was telling me it was time to run. I realy didn't want to run. It felt unfair of Him to request more effort from me, but because I know my Lord's plans are good I began running in my spiritual life as He guided me.
Just a short while later, my friend announced in a meeting that she wass running a 10k for Thanksgiving, and I felt the Lord say this is an earthly parallel to what I'm doing with you spiritually, so run. I started training from zero several weeks ago. I sense the Lord still calling me to run, but it kills me everytime. Because of my physical health, I have next to no energy. When I do run, I'm dead for the rest of the day. But sense my schedule has changed, it's getting harder and harder to get myself up to running.

Wow Jordache. I think that word was for me too. :)

I'm recovering from fatigue and one thing I'm supposed to be doing is light exercise, which is super difficult for a fatigue person. But I'm sure I can start off slow, as long as I get up and do something. It's almost like God is saying get up and walk, you can do this, you can overcome this. Not sure, but I should ask God what He's trying to tell me right now, because something did just happen in my spirit while I was reading your post. Bless you Jordache, I will be praying. :)

our Lord NEVER ask us to do something we are not capable of, i am pretty sure on this. What i am saying is could this be NOT from the lord? The Lord knows that iam 110kg and definately would not ask me to run a marathon for His glory because i guess i would be drop dead halfway. We need to have 'spritual discernment' or 'spritua awareness' or know how to hear God's voice because don't forget we can hear SATAN voice as well.

I find this a bit strange, to be honest; what condition are you suffering from which results in giving you low energy levels?

If you do have some kind of energy depleting health condition, you need to get well before you go off running.

Are you under a Doctor's care?

Do you work, i.e. a secular job, for if you go out running and tire yourself to the point of exhaustation, how can you do your work?

I am puzzled and concerned about your running activity.

Don't run yourself into the ground.
People tend to overdo it when starting a new exercise regime.
Just start slow and be thankful for what you are able to accomplish.
Don't try to do to much at first.
