My little niece was pregnant with her first child and was due this January. She had Valerie last night at 11:30 pm the baby did not make it and Brandy is in surgery. Her husband is beside himself please pray for the strength and comfort of my family. This is all I know at this time.

Father God, please be with Brandy , John and their loved ones as you know the pain of the death of a child. Please be with brandy and let her come through the surgery well. Please also up hold her through this with strength, comfort, and emotional stability . In Yeshua’s Holy name I pray amen.

Update:
There was something wrong with the baby so they had to do an emergency C-section. Valerie died shortly after being born. Last I heard the doctors have Brandy sedated . Thank you for your prayers

Take comfort in knowing the baby is with God, a far far better place to be than this.

They are saying Valerie died shortly after being born from a blood clot in her heart. Brandy is doing better physically but still has a lot of healing to do. John is making the arrangements for the baby. Thank you again for your prayers.

Abba! Brandy and John are so in need of Your tender mercies.
Thank You, Abba, for taking little Valerie Home, though it broke hearts,
and we do not understand Your ways.
You know what it is to grieve over lost little ones, Abba.
Please keep John and Brandy in Your care, and heal Brandy's body,
and both their hearts.
Thank You that Valerie is with You.

There is nothing more I can say but thank you all. The Hospital dressed Valerie up and took pitures and did her little foot prints and made them a memory box.

when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you

Shilo---I am just sorrowful for Brandy and for John.
(tears excuse typos, right?)

But we know that the Lord is good, in all things, at all times.
Most especially when things don't look good. :(

I am praying for them, that the Lord will minister His love and compassion to them,
and that they will be given another child to love and care for.(at least one, but God is so generous!)

Blood clots in placenta went into the umbilical cord then went into the Valerie’s heart and she died. After the baby was born Brandy had to go into surgery to get the placenta out. Brand does not want any one to talk about the baby or send cards. Please say prayers for the family. Thank you

Abba, Your little Brandy is in so much pain, she's having trouble allowing those closest to her to minister Your love to her. :( It just hurts too much to be reminded right now.
Please fill her with Your love, Your grace, Your truth.
Draw her close to You so she can see that all You have ever done and will ever do is from Your heart of love and mercy and compassion!
Please show those close to her that her heart is just broken in little pieces, and that she's wondering if it can ever be whole again. Give the whole family grace for one another, and a spirit of loving compassion and understanding.
Abba, do not let any root of bitterness take root in Brandy's precious heart. If she is angry, even with You, for a time, make her know how much You understand.
Thank You so much for this.
Thank You that You will bring great things from this.
Thank You that Your plan included Valerie, and thank You for her life. ♥
Please re-build Brandy's and John's hearts the way You have always purposed to do...enlarging them to hold more of Jesus.
Abba, reach down from the Throne of Grace and touch them, and heal them, and bless them. I ask that You give them more, so much more, than they had ever imagined You would, to their good, and for Your glory.

There will be a time when all of the pieces will fit together
and we will understand the reason for our gains and losses.

Brandy is not going to be with the family on Christmas because Michael her brother has a 4 month old baby and she cannot be around babies right now. Please keep her and John in your prayers. Thank you

Shilo, I had a very close friend years ago who was married to a terrific guy, one of our church elders.
They were unable to have childrem, though she did get pregnant twice. :(

She did not attend baby showers. It just hurt too much.
I didn't understand at that time...and I am sad I had less compassion than I ought to have had.
I never showed my lack to her, but it was there...in my heart. :(

I am grateful Brandy has you, and a loving family to just love her right now.
Some people can handle this sort of loss more easily than others.
Soft, tender hearted people tend to bear it least easily.
We pragmatic, heartless folks bear up more durably, but oh, what the Lord has to do
to enlarge our hearts! :rolleyes:
