Someone recently suggested that a special forum be created to give reports of answered prayer. In the meantime (and perhaps even if the new forum IS created), I think this thread would be a good idea, so I'm starting it.

Please feel free to add things that you're thankful for, if you don't have any visible answered prayers (He often simply says "no" or "wait" :)).

Lord Jesus, thank You for coming to Earth to rescue the pitiful human race while we were yet sinners. Thank You that through You we can have life and have it more abundantly, as well! Please help us to get to know You better each day and show us what to do to help add souls to Your Kingdom constantly. If we hurt someone, please point it out to us so we can make it right and honor You. In Your AWESOME name, amen :).

You're welcome, Mike :). God bless you as well.

Amen, Blain; it's by far the best reason to be made fun of! That's why I clicked the "like" button, because you were thankful for it :).

I'm so far beyond thankful for all the times the Lord answered 'no' and 'wait'.

I learned more, and grew more like Him as a result of those answers than I did any 'yes', other than salvation. ♥

God's wisdom...His thoughts are not my thoughts (in the natural)
and His ways not my ways, thanks be to our glorious God! :)

And thanks to the Lord, I can be renewed in my mind, and have the mind of Christ. :)
Who could want anything more? ♥

love you, Jill-

Oh, thank you, Ellie! I love you as well :). Yeah, it's funny how our failures and "no" answers can teach us so much if we let our Lord show us what He wants us to see from it all ... wow, what an awesome God :). Oh, and I hope that you and the other ladies who answer all/most of the prayer requests find this thread encouraging; that's part of the reason for it, I think =).

Amen, Mike :)!

This is not my story but I found it so beautiful. A little girl went to her mother and said she wanted an answered prayer from God. Her mother asked her what do you want. She thought about it and said I want God to turn the sky pink for me her favorite color. Her mother encouraged her little girl to ask her father in heaven for this special gift. They prayed together and that night this little girl had her first answered prayer. The sky at sunset was painted just for this little girl in different shades of pink. I love this story because it does not matter how big or small your prayer is your father love to delight his children who trust in him. Just think of all the people who looked up in the sky that night and said that is an unusual and beautiful sunset. Others that night even if they did not know it got to share in the beauty of answered prayer. Think of this wonderful blessing this little girl will carry with her all her life. Our Lord and father is so mighty and holds the world in his hand but takes time to hear one of his beloved children with the most simple and innocent request daddy paint the sky pink for me. What trust what beauty.

Matthew 18:3 he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Jilly, I was so excited when I saw the thread title. :)

It is encouraging to just take some time to praise the Lord Jesus! ♥
So, thank you so much for this,
and thank the Lord Jesus for placing this on your heart. :)

And Shilo, that's the most lovely story. ♥
It is so like the Lord to bless the 'unaware' while He blesses His little ones, isn't it?
I wonder how often something wonderful happens and we don't even realize its origin?

Ellie, thank you for that. I should probably say, I thought of it as soon as I woke up and I was quite sure that God wanted me to start the thread; it was a really peaceful feeling :).

Hey, happy news everyone :)! A young lady from Australia accepted Jesus as her Savior in the youtube room yesterday :)!! Here's a link to the post that tells about it (she gave me permission to give her screen name, BTW). http://christianchat.com/christian-...-guys-please-read-girls-too-6.html#post883289 Also, if you want to read the first post of that thread especially, there are a couple other encouraging testimonies, though throughout the whole thread I tried to mention people meeting Jesus here on this site :).

One other thing about the young lady I mentioned in my last post in this thread. Some of the people here have been rather rude to her, sadly =(. She started this thread -------> http://christianchat.com/miscellaneous/56210-mistake.html to try to express her frustration. In post number 11 she explains what she meant more specifically; if you only read the first post you might think that she was remorseful about asking Jesus to be her Savior, but that wasn't what she was trying to say. Anyway, I wanted to let you all know just in case anyone felt led to encourage her or pray for her (as it says on her profile page, she's 13, deaf, and her family doesn't believe in God. I can't imagine how frustrating and lonely it must feel when people are rude =( ). As a praise point though, she was doing better the last time I talked to her, and she cheered up in the thread as people were kind to her :).
