It's been a pretty rough weekend for me already, so I guess I'm just going to start at the beginning.
Thursday night I get into work and our supervisor let us know they would be dropping two operators this coming week, and since we only have four operators, and only two are actually hired in, that means I get the boot for now. I also started getting sick that evening and had to call in the next evening which would have been final night there. I know God will take care of me and provide, but at the same time I don't have a lot of hope right now. I'm almost 28 and have to live with my parents because I really can't afford anything else, so it's pretty tough.
This morning I found out that someone my ex wife and I were very close to when we were married had died. Him and his wife played a huge part in our lives when we were together, and he especially helped me a lot, and was really a true example of a Godly husband, and father. I've had grandparents/great grandparents die before, but for the first time, I really find myself asking "why?" He wasn't very old, and could have been a ministry to so many more people.
If you guys could keep in prayer for me and especially this guys family it would be really appreciated. He was a worship pastor in the area, and has/had a wife, three kids and two grandkids.
