I know this sounds strange, but, I have been in the same boat, having surgeries on both shoulders , the right twice for a torn bicept tendon, and the left for a rotator cuff tear. We too faced losing our home, bills being behind, food disappearing, etc. After praying about the situation and many, many nights of worry, God revealed to me that He is in control. First and foremost, when you worry, you tie the hands of God, keeping the blessings He has for you from reaching you. Worry is a form of disbelief. Have faith that God in all His Glory will provide for you and your family. Second, God gives us a promise that if we will be faithful and tithe, He will give it back to us with the measure we give. Give cheerfully, He told us to try Him on this. This is the only time in scripture that God tells us to test Him. By keeping your focus on the lack, you are taking your eyes off of the One who can make a way where there is no way. Focus on the lack will lead to doubt, and faith is what makes the mountains move. I promise you this works, because after 3 surgeries, over 5 years total out of work, living on 60% of my income (at the time $10.00 an hour), God did this for me, and if you will place this in His hands, He will do this for you as well. In having faith in Him, you will draw closer to Him though this as well. I will be in prayer for this in agreement with my brothers and sisters in Christ for you as well.
