I hope I am not being selfish in asking prayers for myself. I am legally blind in my left eye with partial vision in the right eye from macular degeneration.

Recently there was a sudden decline of the vision in the good eye, although I can still read and do certain things. I can see well on the PC screen because it is light, and I have it set up to see things easier.

My request is the Lord allow me to keep good enough vision to continue to be able to read, at least on the PC. If not, I am in the best of company because the three patriarchs were all of poor vision before they left this age.

Praise Yahweh, may His will be done, with me and with all, amen...............thank you all, you are always a blessing............

Praying for the Lord's will and if that is healing, that He would allow your vision to be completely healed. It is not selfish to ask for prayer for yourself, it is very wise to do so. I pray that the Lord blesses you greatly! :)

Hugs Jaume, my mother lost her sight to the same, yet she never lost seeing through faith.
The amazing part was when she passed, her cornias went to a man who was blind, and he now sees!
I am always humbled by Gods grace and glory in what we have, have not, and in Him are able to give! :)
Praying for you and for all you ask in Jesus's name.

God bless

It is not surprising you say this about your Mother. It has been about 20 years since I became blind in the left eye, practically overnight due to the "wet" type of macular degeneration. It is the more aggressive type.

The right eye was getting to begin to fade also. I offered all of my vision to our Lord if it be His will confessing I would much rather keep it, but I know He knows best so I left it in His hands.

He must have liked it because the spot in my right eye diminished enough so I could see well, but I did go through a period where it seemed certain my vision was a total goner. Because of this, I began to read much more than my usual seven to ten chapters of the Word a day, and I began to see things I never saw before, not with the eyes and not with the mind.

This vision is far more important than what we call sight, but I do love to read the Word, and, as I mention all too frequently, I am reading the Word in Hebrew for the first time, so I would really like to be able to finish that. This is not so I can just "say" I have read it in Hebrew, it is to see more confirmations of what the Holy Spirit has already given to all of us.

Thank you for your wonderful prayers always.

My sister with bone cancer has slight dry macular degeneration, but it has been treated in time so her vision is really not in danger now.

My Mother, whom I lost recently, also had this ailment to the point of not seeing much at all, legally blind. It seems to be a family possession.

God bless you always my dear sister, always in Yeshua is my love for you...

Consider it done.
No weapon formed against you will prosper, every work of the enemy is null and void.
Jesus received stripes for this.
