I missed an online midterm due Sunday night. I was at a friends house for part of the weekend, and on a church campout. I had the essay portion of the test completed by Saturday afternoon and thought I should have it looked over before I submitted it. I wish I had just submitted it then like I wanted to, because I might be getting a rather poor grade in the class. I have had 100% on everything in the class so far, and can probably do the same with the rest but MidTerms are typically 25% of the grade or better.

I'm really mad right now with myself for not getting it taken care of when I could have, and for doing things that distracted me from my studies.

I am hoping that God will assist me in the matter, as I have emailed my professor asking if I can submit it late for partial credit. I doubt he will say yes, knowing that he is more professionally minded than many of my professors.

Pray as you feel lead.

I'm going to assume this second chance thing isnt a habit youve formed in the past. What I mean is, hoping that you will get another chance and knowingly procrastinating. If its not, then I hope your teacher will give you grace because you seem remorseful. Just as Jesus constantly gives us a new start I pray your teacher sees the benefit of giving you a break. If he doesnt, im sure if you talked to him and show him your true concern he may let you do something for extra credit. I dont know, just a thought. Of course it depends on the person he is. Good luck in your education. Prayers are with you.

You're mad! Well that's a good sign. You care. Use that feeling, that energy constructively.
