While fixing my 53 year old brother dinner, because he's too lazy to get off his butt to do it himself, my 86 year old mother fell and broke her hip. She's having emergency surgery this afternoon. Please pray for her and the surgical team, and that God will provide healing for her. Thank you all, and thank you Lord for interceding.

Heavenly Father I pray in the name of Jesus that you would move on this man like a mighty wind. Lord draw him closer to You and open his eyes to his wrongs. Lord be with this lady, give her patients, knowing that You are more than able to move mountains for her and her needs for her mother and her brother. Lord give her might in prayer and trusting in you. Lord be with the mother, bring her healing.. Holy Father, move the mountains for her as well. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Was she trying to cook for him, it really dosn't matter what happened, but don't be angry at him, be thankfull you have a brother, and love him, there are not so good stories of brothers fighting over food, and ending it, in terrible ways. Father bring peace, and unity, healing for the mom, and let them help her in her time of need, as she served them many years, give back to her the love she gave in Jesus name. amen

God is so awesome - and full of surprises. My older brother's fiancé's cousin was an anesthesiologist at the hospital. I say was, because Thursday was supposed to be his last day there (he's starting at another facility next week). So we're in pre-op waiting for the surgical team and guess who walks in. The hospital had called him, explaining that they had a special case (elderly with heart and stroke history) and needed his expertise. He had no idea it was us he was being called to help, just as we (including the fiancé) had no idea he was being called. Everyone (especially mom) heaved a sigh of relief to know someone familiar was on the case. Surgery went without a flaw, even though there were l"lot's of pieces" everything just fell into place. They were at first saying she'd never walk again, the surgery would only allow her to get out of bed and to a couch. Now they're saying she has to be up on her feet as soon as possible. Thank you Lord, and thank you all for praying for her.

The brother is a big issue. At the age of 53 he still lives with, and off of, mom and dad. He pays no rent, no utilities, does no chores, only works 2 days a week, and is a total tyrant. Mom still cooks for him, does his laundry, makes his bed, and lord forbid she let him sleep past 5 pm and miss his favorite TV show. He's demon oppressed (I pray it's not worse but fear so), rude, disrespectful, and creates an incredibly dark environment wherever he is. He claims he's saved, I have my doubts, I mean I think he is (was) but he's a tool of satan now. I made an issue of it 2 1/2 years ago, long story short my dad told me I could either learn to kneel and kiss the little lord's arse like they do, or I could stay away. So I for the most part stay away. Pray, but stay away. Even now, my dad was constantly seeking his permission - " is it ok if I go to lunch with Bob and Rick?" or "would I be in your way if I were to take my shower first in the morning?" It makes my wife sick, to see the dynamic that's going on. It's definitely satanic.

Anyway, thank you for bringing your wisdom about brothers into your prayer. It's hard to see those you love so enslaved.

oh, it's even harder to take the towel and wash his feet. This is what Jesus taught us, to serve, to sow lø√e, and it will return, but I don't know about this, but he needs his feet washed in love, and fellowship. The Lord taught us to do this. Jesus bring love and healing to these brothers, and heal the mom of this heartache. amne
