Please keep me in your prayers guys. I'm slipping into a depressive state of mind again and it escalated to the first suicidal thought I've had in years. Please pray that this dark cloud passes over me.

I know that feeling and how deep it can get...
Remember Psalm 34:17-20 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
I will continue to pray for you.
Much love!

I felt the same way earlier in the year. I know how that feels. I actually battle depression fairly consistently, but the suicidal thoughts are less common. So i understand what you're going through.

May I ask you why?

1) You are smart.
2) You are young.
3) You believe and have searched why you believe this and disbelieved that.

Perhaps you don like that cold. Perhaps you and your friend seek to live in a better place, but I know here many have lost home, beds, lands... many things, and some hopes are hold (held).

I am sick! I'm not dying, yet. Each day I get an injection of 10 cc of a chemical to kill the thing a mosquito game (Leishmania). My flesh in the are is loosing its sensibility. I'm eaten alive, and this is how spiritually I was dying without knowing it, hours after hours.

This morning, my first thoughts were: I have to visit pastor Eduardo (one of my few friends) to scan those blood tests and the cardiac report to back up the history I have at the hospital and to show the CNE why I didn't attent to vote or to be part of the the obliged comissing they gave me to be a witness/worker in Dec. 8. In a blink of the eyes, Eduardo sent me a text message: Do I have any power of the mind or IT IS GOD DIRECTING ME where to go?

I guess HE LOVES you more...

Just tell HIm what's wrong inside you, He will direct you on what to do.

Yikes, I had not idea, JC. I'll definitely be praying for you. I had depression in my late teens and early 20's and I hated it. This will be a difficult battle but remember God is bigger than your depression and Christ has already won victory at the cross. As a child of the Living God, you share in that same victory. Please remind yourself of that daily. Praying earnestly on your behalf.

Your bro in Christ,

Christian
