Hey guys, just a little prayer request, I'll be preaching as a youth pastor to my youth group for the FIRST time this Friday, I'm only 17 so this is my big chance to show what I've got, I really what to be a minister when I'm older, I'd really appreciate your prayers that I touch ALOT of hearts with the light of Jesus this Friday, All Glory to God, I really hope I do our wonderful FATHER justice that night, I'll be preaching about not faking it as a Christian and to JUMP OFF THE FENCE and pick the right side ,

hey, have confidence! you're older than the majority of the disciples were, and they did just fine with that whole preaching thing!

In all seriousness, you will be a little rattled and nervous. Take the time to prepare your talk with scripture and prayer, and you'll be amazed how the Spirit will guide you through the rest. I have never been able to duplicate a sermon, though the subject may be the same, and I've had people come up to me after the service to tell me that I spoke a word directly to them. Funny thing is that usually the word they heard was not something that I had planned to discuss, and often I don't remember intentionally putting it in there. It was a word of the Spirit meant for that person, and God will find a way to work through your words, just let Him!
