Hey guys :)

many of you i'm sure are receiving prayer requests on a daily basis, some of you never speak about it but you've been interceding and fasting for the Lord to move here; many of you have lists with names of people you are praying for and supporting in PM, i know you're out there, the secret intercessors :)

I'm thinking....could we all meetup daily in the prayer room and bring our lists and lift up all those people to the Lord, in agreement. There is power in collective anointing and agreement. There is also power in praise and worship.

If we all gather daily, with the names of those people laid out before the Lord, and some of us get on the mic in prayer, and others pray off the mic at the same time while others worship in their homes, i am convinced we will see powerful breakthroughs.

I'm not trying to be a leader of anything, i travel frequently and might not be there daily to join in, but i am able to commit faithfully and help it get started, then log in every chance i get so we can all join hands in the work.

please let me know if you're interested and God bless you for your faithfulness :)

your sister in Christ,

georgia.

God is a God of order, amen. It would be good if we established clear hours of daily meetings for intercessors, and people are free to join when they're available, but there would be a constant roaster of people praying in that timeframe, for the purpose of corporate agreement and anointing. God bless.

Isoneedahug - I understand that God is a God of Order but no where does He state we need to set down gathering hours. I do agree that constant intercession is critical, however this site is a very spontaneous online platform, and usually those in the same time zones gather whenever the need arises.

The thing is that everyone on here all have chores they need to attend to at random so they come online when it suits them really, so therefore there are no rigid time frames in any of the rooms.

I do know of some people who have a specific group of friends that do bibles studies together, they gather at a set time every week or day in one of the less traveled rooms and they have committed to that. So if you can gather a couple of intercessors and do the same I'm sure it would be most beneficial and you will be blessed for that.

There are almost always people in the Prayer room, interceding and praying as the need arises and as they feel lead by the Holy Spirit - just pop in whenever you are online and join in :)

If you go to the "prayer" chatroom, you can normally find a group of people willing to pray there with you. Its been occupied most of the times I've been there.

Personally my schedule is too hectic to commit to times and dates but perhaps you can find a few individuals you can pm and set up prayer times with? Or just go into the chat rooms and makes some friends and pray with them.

The original purpose of the Women's Ministry room was to have a quiet place for a woman who has need of one-on-one ministry away from the crowded lounge or other CC chatrooms. It is still used for that purpose, but sometimes women will meet there randomly.

CC does have the prayer room available 24/7. We do not have any regularly scheduled prayer meetings however.

Hi neweagle, i appreciate your feedback. Does this mean that CC regulation does not allow for organized prayer hours or simply that it has not yet been suggested or done? For those of us who log on from europe or asia or africa, and for those of us who just arrive and don't know anyone and feel a bit lost, it would be really helpful if we knew clearly that from such hour to such hour we could partake in genuine intercession from established intercessors on the site. As a newbie i tried to hookup with women's ministry activities and was told they meet daily but could never receive clear info on the hours, which means i've kept missing their meetings. I've also gotten many emails from people outside of the USA who express the same frustration and the same desire to see regular hours for group meetings. God bless.

I've been to the prayer room many times and found people sitting silently, but no clear sense of who or what we would be praying for. No sense either of who was even qualified in there to pray, who was born again and who was there just to be helped. Again i stress the value of agreement and corporate prayer when one is dealing with so many fragile people in various states of crisis and prayer needs. I think it's helpful to bring structure into these meetings so vulnerable newbies are not left out and they do feel like they're part of something that is clear and interractive, something welcoming and dynamic.

They would feel informed as well rather than just hanging around a silent room that could or not potentially, randomly and unpredictably be filled with prayer, depending on whether someone, somewhere is done with their chores and up for prayer. I don't think that's enough, it's too random and too thin, because the needs and the problems of people are so great. Why not offer them a more solid and structured support?

hi, Georgia!

Allow me to say:

Some people would feel unconfortable is their needs are openly exposed on line.
Some may have "hunches" they need more attention than they´re feeling it was needed.
Those who feel the need of being in a prayer list, they can give their names SOMEWHERE (a place or a thread) and those who like could see it for prayer meeting. However, I insist on "privacy": God does not need to know MY PROBLEMS, except I need Him to intervine or show me what to do. If I tell, publicly, my problems, some would make use of it to hurt or to get me impress. just one example:

I had a close friend who more than once she said she was an apostle... She knew I got a problem with Leishmania and, any day or night, she messaged me telling: "I SEE your sores are getting incredible well"... Another day she said: "I see them quite healed". And that moment (the night before) I saw them well healed, that I wanted to tell her I was healed but, how come she knew I was having troubles with it? I told her. Probably she prayed for my healing but, is she a visioner? how come she sees what I´m doing at home any day or night?

Some people boast on being somebody. Some like to pretend what they aren´t and, if the receive (publicly) certain information, some would act like that SIMON (the sorcerer) who wanted to buy the power GOD gave his apostles. Privacy, of details, have to be kept, though names or nicknames can be mentioned to protect those things they don´t want to publicly comment. I´m convinced the enemy of God would block some ways to impede the blessing to come down, same way "the Prince of Persia" blocked the way when Daniel was praying to be heard and, that biblical story tells much more. Dan. 10:13

When you arrive in the prayer room and there is silence it means that no one has a prayer request at the moment, or they may be PMing or praying through PMs. Or perhaps chatters have decided to just ''hang out'' in the prayer room to wait there so they might pray when someone enters with a request either on the mic or by typing a request.

However, CC rules do not support organized, structured studies or meetings. Remember that we have many different kinds of folks in CC, various denominations and beliefs. To endorse a study or organized meeting when we do not know who the leaders are or what they believe does not work well for this type of media.

Plus we've had examples of such unauthorized meetings turn into arguments or into platforms for gross error to arise so the rules just do not allow such organized meetings.

These are not issues, merely an online platform, with people from across the world. If you need structured you'll find it in a church or a prayer meeting where people from the same town with the same "free" time can gather at their own discretion. If you're from Africa. You're welcome to join the group that usually gather there from about 1pm? That's when the Australian guys and us in the northern hemisphere usually overlap. But to say that whenever You come there it's silent.... you just picked your time, not everyone else's. I'm nearly always in the prayer room, and almost always have we found the amazing movement of the Holy Spirit.

It's very simple what NewEagle said - if YOU have "secret intercessors" you would like to group together for prayer at a set time every day, you are more than welcome. No one is stopping you from that. But just because others do not share your POV does not make it an "Issue of Prayer" - I'd rather then pray for a sound mind and humble heart. And make myself available at any possible time.

Yeah, I have to agree with Tash and Neweagle. The prayer room is open 24/7. I frequently visit it. Never is there a time when one isnt praying. If people are sitting quiet they are usually waiting for someone they can help.

Don't really see a need in meeting at a certain time for prayer because my God is available all the time.

Ok well, maybe you can join us sometime.

If you want you can just post when you will be there and invite people to come pray with you. Sometimes I will pm a friend and set up a time we can pray together, but normally we just find an empty room to pray in or ask if those in the room would mind praying with us.

WOW tashmeyer76....i just read your comment now, i didn't realize that saying i appreciate all the feedbacks and will put everything in prayer was an act of pride or lack of sound mind on my part. I always put everything in prayer and i always trust the Lord to make things work best in the end.

My saying that was just a closing and respectful comment towards everyone who wrote back. I'm terribly sorry you seem to think i'm prideful and do not have a sound mind. I truly apologize to you personally. I simply received from the Lord a concern for people who might feel isolated in their various pains and wanted to discuss with the brethren how to best coordinate attending to their needs. I do trust you will pray for me that the Lord will bless me with your type of humility and sound mind, and most especially with your loving spirit.

I don't think her comment was meant that way. I took it that she prays for herself to be humble and have a sound mind, not to imply that you lack either of those.

I personally pray for both constantly, especially during work when I watch my high school students do things that drive me towards the edge of insanity.

anyway if you ever see me in the chatrooms you can always pm me and I'll pray with you. :)

Yeah that's it. It was not implying anything, but if you feel offended by my remark I do humbly apologize Isoneedahug.

Father God,

I thank you for all those who offer the love gift of prayer to others here on cc.. we thank you that you are the great Intercessor and that you are constantly praying on our behalf.. Lord we give our prayer lives to you as a love offering to you for it is in you and thru you we pray. Lord guide us and show us the power of your love.. and the power of your Spirit.. help us to do exactly what you would want us to do. Prayer is such a private honour Father that you want us to respect that gift and honour the body of Christ with lifting them up to you.. praying the Word of God having it manifest and return to you having accomplished what you set it out to do Father.

Lord you are a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.. show us your will.. and let us honour you with obedience to the full.. Bless all who are here on this site Lord.. let this be a place of great love and healing.. that testimony after testimony will be proclaimed as many of your sheep find healing for their lives here Father.. in Jesus mighty name I pray..

Amen
