This is a prayer request asked of me by one of my best friends:

Hey Lindsey. Can you do me a favor and pray for my family? My cousin Alex has been fighting drugs for the past five years. She had a beautiful son in the midst of things, and he is now almost 3. She had a court date the other day and missed it, and now she has a warrant out for her arrest. She said some things to her mother, my aunt Sammie, that is making my aunt believe she is going to try to kill herself. But if she is found, she will be put in prison for 12 years. Right now my aunt is at a loss. She is 69, and taking care of her grandson. She is also losing her faith in God, though I know that God work in mysterious ways. I ask that you please pray for God's hand to be on her, and for him to fill their home. Aunt Sammie has been the glue that has held out family together, and I worry that all this stress is putting a strain on her health.



Please help me pray for these people, thanks!

Father God I come to you to ask that you cradle jocelyn,s family.... hold them close in their time of sorrow...
lift them up and guide them in your ways...keep sister sammie strong and healthy...please help alex find her way
back to them...whole and strong....bless our new baby and give him a chance to grow and be good...
I ask this in Jesus,s name.....amen

Lord, thank You that for the love that has worked together to bring these prayers up to Your throne. Thank You that they are a sweet fragrance to You. Thank You that You always hear our prayers and work all things together for our good. Thank You that You are working in this situation even now. Thank You that this Aunt Sammie will stand firm in the faith as this storm passes. Thank You that You are calling Alex by her name and are doing a work in her that will bring her to repentance and a deeper understanding of Your love. Thank You that You have provided a situation whereby Aunt Sammie could care for her grandson. I pray that he is raised to know You, Lord. We praise You for all You are about to do for this family. In Christ's Name, Amen.
