Have you ever liked someone or knew of someone and they do something wrong and you have to sit back and watch people judge and say evil.things without knowing all the facts? Im in that situation....but its with an celebrity. First if all I want to say im a very sensitive person. Im very emotional and I care about people even if I dont know them. I worry alot and most of the time it affects my life and my happiness. Recently if you dont know, an actor named Columbus Short(plays on tv show "scandal") has been in the blogs because of alleged domestic violence and thoughts of suicide a moment. He's also going through a divorce and a very hard time! Im a hugeee fan of him. Even though Ive never met him, I genuinely care about him and his well being.He's been asking for prayers and support but instead, everyone/media is bashing him and leaving the weight of the world on his shoulders. Even if the allegations are true, Yes it is wrong but I feel no one should judge! Everyone goes through things. Obviously he has an deeper problem and instead of offering genuine help or prayer, people are on the blogs and social media calling him all types of things like they haven't sinned or ever made mistakes. Especially on twitter. I have seen the most evil things said to him. Some was wishing rape and beatings on him, some even death. People calling him a woman beater, and psycho and crazy. Everyone screws up sometimes. Now u have people saying he's a bad person just based of blogs without knowing who he actually is! People are so quick to judge and turn their back on you when your going through a rough time! Half of them bashing him, loved him before the allegation came out. I just feel its wrong and ppl should pray instead of bash him. Just yesterday he said "God is good and where ever God takes him, he will go." He also said that God was preparing him for this time in his life. When I saw he said that, I started to cry because I was so happy that he hadn't given up his faith just because times are bad. I dont know why but I keep checking twitter to see all the negative things people are saying about him. It literally saddens me and actually makes me not have an appetite. I know it might sound stupid because im trying get prayer for a celebrity ive never met but and people have deeper issues but im sorry. This is giving me anxiety. Ive been praying for him and I want him to get help and when I express that on twitter, ppl say im supporting a bad man and they dont care about what happens to him. Well I do and considering that he was suicidal at one point, he needs all the prayer he needs. He's a great actor and I would hate to see the devil take away his happiness and his life because of mistakes he's made and people condemning him. This whole week, I couldnt get him off my mind. Im just really sad. Im trying to realize that man has no power and that only God contols his fate and not man. Im trying to remember that everyone has done wrong and is sinning even though when someone else dies wrong, they feel it's different then their sin in god's eyes. Even though I know that and it cheers me up for a moment, then the devil comes back in my head and I get sad again. Im like the only person with the exception of his family which are christian and a few fans that are christian who arent stomping on him and actually hope he gets better and trust in God. Everybody else is looking down on him hoping for the worst. Hoping he loses his job on Scandal. Just hoping nothing but the worst. Thats why I came on here. He's in desperate need of prayer. Please pray for this man! I jnow that through God, he can have redemption and conquer anything. Please send your prayers to him and his family in this rough time. He needs it. And please can u pray for me for these last months of high school? Ive been struggling with self esteem and my grades in school. Thank you and God bless all of you!
