People need to pray in faith, And faith comes by hearing God's word, [The Bible] Rom 10: 17.
One need to get the revelation about healing, So they can have faith the receive healing.
So here what God said about healing.
Isaiah 53: 3--5.
V3, Jesus was a man of sorrows,[ The Hebrew word means, "Pain], And aquainted with grief, [Hebrew, Sickness].
V4, SURELY He, [Jesus] has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains.
V5By His stripes were are healed.
V10 says God has put Jesus to sick, Just like Jesus was made to be sin so we could be made the righteousness of God, Jesus was made to be sick [suffer] so we could be healed.
Matt 8: 1--8 is all about divine healing for the physical body, Then in v17 it says,
"That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, [Ch 53], Saying, Himself [Jesus] took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses".
1 Pet 2: 24.
"By His stripes we WERE healed".
The "Stripes" are the lashes of the whips that Jesus had.
And that was we can be healed.
Just like Jesus has taken our sins, He has taken our sicknesses, And just like we receive salvation by faith, We can receive healing by faith.
In Mk 16: 18, Jesus says the believer shall lay hands on the sick, and they SHALL recover.
James 5: 15, Says the prayer of faith SHALL heal the sick.

What is the disease etc?
There are spiritual roots that are the cause of your issues.
Psalms 103:3 "Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases." this verse is connecting sin/generational curses to disease.
More examples:
3 John 1:2 "Beloved, I pray that in all things thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth".
The state of our soul is directly connected to our health.
John 5:14 "Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee".
Connection between sin and sickness
Many would say that lack of faith is why people aren't being healed but according to Hebrews 6:1-2 that's not the case as repentance from dead works comes before faith towards God, laying on of hands comes fourth. When Pastors ask those who need prayer to come up for healing, they just pray and aren't discerning the spiritual root of that sickness and that is why they aren't healed.
Hebrews 6:1-2 "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,[SUP] 2. [/SUP]Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment".
Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...." It doesn't say lack of faith.
James 5:15 "And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him".
This verse also makes the connection between the forgiveness of sins and sickness.
Mark 6:12-13 "And they went out, and preached that men should repent. [SUP]13 [/SUP]And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them".
You can see here that repentance comes before healing.
When our body is sick it's trying to get our attention that something is wrong in our soul or spirit.

Never forget how important faith is in your healing process. For example Jesus said, "Daughter, your faith has healed you." (Mark 5:34) and "Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well." (Matthew 9:22). I pray that God will totally restore your health and enable you to live your life to the fullest extent. In the Mighty Name of JESUS. Amen.
