Kitties are one of the best things ever created. It's a shame how society frowns so much on them.
I have four cats and they range from being super friendly to being distant. It really all comes down to how they were raised, whether if they left their mother cat too soon or not and of course the environment. The youngest cat we adopted, I remember pretty much smothering her *since I think it was a little too soon that she left her mother cat and the kittens, and now three years later she almost never leaves my side. Social hour for her and she lays next to me and I can pretty much say anything to her and she looks up at me like she's interested. At least someone would. xP
