The biggest thing I've learned while recovering from drugs is to speak life. Christ and I about have this addiction beat. I am a conqueror, the withdrawals are almost over, and the victory is won! Its gonna be a very long road and won't be easy but I'm ready and I'm in it til the end. Please continue praying for me. To God be the glory great things He hath done!

You're very right. There is spiritual power in the spoken word. Especially the words Jesus is Lord. Demons hate that s-tuff, it's like acid in their ears. Really good to repeat over and over and over again when one is trying to yank your leash.

1Cor12:3 Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says "Jesus is accursed!" and no one can say "Jesus is Lord" except in the Holy Spirit.

Lord we thank you for your child Wantstogiveup and for her faith in You. May she continue to walk with you Lord through these trying times. Through You she has found the strength to turn away from her drug addiction and through You she will continue to stay clean. We praise you for your goodness and mercy Lord and know that nothing is impossible for You. Although we must suffer a little while in this life, you have promised that you will wipe away every tear and make all things new. We ask that you be a comfort and strength to her Lord, in Jesus name, Amen.

Really rejoicing with you. Stand on the Rock, being side tracked, when in an emotional state of like a bummer, rejection, etc. This is the time usually darkness will try to come back around again, to drag you under. When we least expect it, be on your guard, pleading the blood over you, knowing how important this is to you.*
