Prayers needed!

My husband got arrested over the weekend for a bogus misdemeanor child neglect charge. I'm not going into details here, but please know the child was in no danger whatsoever and is perfectly fine. He was released, but cannot come home as we live in a different state. I cannot go be with him as I have a job and we have animals at home that need care. We are having a hard time being away from each other, and we are both very scared. Please pray that God would give us strength to endure what's going on and also that the charges will be dropped or the sentence will be minimal. It was an entirely bogus charge. My husband has a very close family relationship with this child and would never do anything he thought could harm them. He would rather die than see any of his family in harm. We have to wait another week for the arraignment, and I know I will crumble if they take him into custody after court. Please pray for us.

God is using this situation for good in that we are learning what matters most -- each other. But we are terrified about the future.

Philippians 4:13

Lord Jesus, please keep them away from the coming trouble, Amen.

My dear sister, why are you fretting? The first thing I thought of reading your prayer request was that the charges against Jesus were bogus too. There is in fact scripture which expresses to us to be joyful when we are persecuted while being innocent as we are being considered worthy of the same sufferings as Christ. I face ongoing persecution from a situation which I had no responsibility in. God has taught me so much and blessed me more and more every day as it is not only my suffering but also the suffering of my children. IF we focus on things of this world we would fuss and fret and worry. My salvation is secure. Nothing can separate me from the love of God. God has given me His peace throughout all of these difficult circumstances.

Father I pray for this couple and all involved in this situation. I know you know their circumstances just as you know mine. I know you are able to empower them just as you have me. I pray that your will be done. I pray that their hearts be open to learning from you all you want to give them in every circumstance.
