So I graduated college two months ago and have been struggling to get a job majorly. I can't even get one in a grocery store or food joint. My degree is in psychology, but you need a masters and experience for it. I don't have the funds to go straight to grad school. People always say to have faith and things will work out. That's not entirely true. If things always worked out, there would be less homeless. Less people starving. Less deception. Etc...My faith is very shaky and I don't know what the point is if one can't start a life and better himself in Christ's image. Iwould appreciate any thoughts and advice. I don't know what to do. I don't know where to turn to. And I'm losing hope...

Oil young man oil. It's not too late for you to get a degree where oil companies will fight over you when you graduate. Take a good look at this school: South Dakota School of Mines and Technology South Dakota School of Mines.

Hello young brother.....what your saying is exactly what the devil would want you to believe.......
Now is the most important time to show God that you have faith...having faith and believeing for
what appears to us as impossible is what we as christians have over nonbelievers...
When we get to the point of hopelessness....we have two choices.....give up.....
or fight the good fight...when we give up... thats when others find themselves homeless....and in situations
who causes some to doubt...but when we step forward to God and trust in a solution....all turns out well...
I have believed for God many times....when everything and everyone thought I should quit....
I smile and say ...I,m glad its not up to me.....My God has a plan and I will be obedient and march on....
Everytime...always.....things come my way to show me....God is in control....and I am not....and thats
just great by me....trust in our Father and blessings will soon find you....
You worked hard my brother you continue to strive day by day...and we will see you in the testimony forum...
Peace.......jo
Father God I thank you for being at work in my brothers life....thankyou for preparing him the perfect job...
for keeping him strong....and holding him close...I thankyou in Jesus,s name.....amen...

You have what it takes now take what you have and make it happen. Don't have the funds? Get the funds where you can make $80,000 a year. Where? Tanker Truck Driving Jobs

Save your cash then get a degree in something that will have oil companies fighting over you. Where? South Dakota School of Mines: South Dakota School of Mines and Technology

Go get your CDL and put it to work in a field that is crying for workers. Truck driving.

Or, sit around and 'lose hope'. You're young, smart, and full of energy. Go for it and don't let anyone stop you!

One can have all the faith but it's ultimately up to the employer if he/she wants you.

don't let the title cause you to think it is only about your personal iniquity, it covers the iniquity of our nation and also generational curses.

Have you applied to any hospitals psych wards? Have you looked into intern programs? You can counsel with an associates you just don't make much. Have you consider doing your masters in Biblical counsel which might allow for a scholarship or working at the university? How about a teacher for an on line degree that opens up Christan universities all across the country.

This is unlikely, as a selling point schools (and academic advisers) often emphasize a strong demand for graduate degrees even when it doesn't exist. If you are considering graduate school in order to find work or make money rather than because you feel a calling for or have a love of that field you are probably making a mistake. Check independent sources (and not just websites) to see whether graduate school is right for you.

A job search of well over two months is not unusual for recent graduates and you are quite young. I wouldn't worry.

Remember, faith is not about the storms being removed, it is knowing that Jesus is with you though them. :)
Setting you and all you need before God in Jesus's name.

God bless

It's not "ultimately up to the employer". It's "ultimately" up to you. If you have what they need 'the employer' will want you. It's time for you to get what they need.

Father, give this person a job in Jesus Name. Jesus said] "You are the light of the world. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:14-16
