Really scared!!

Do you guys think God and/or demonic spirits communicate with us through nightmares? I'm almost certain God communicated with me through a dream once, but I guess this question is more focusing on bad dreams. For example, I recently decided to completely cut off contact with my most recent ex. But the last few nights, I've been having dreams that we're back together and super happy. Obviously that ends me waking up really upset and heartbroken all over again. Last night I also had a dream after that one that I was at my house alone at night, and when I walked in the door after seeing friends, my mom was standing there. Long story short it wasn't actually my mom, it was an evil spirit taking the form of my mom to get me to get in the car with it. It ended and I woke up at the point where me and the evil spirit that looked like my mom were driving away, so who knows where that would have ended up haha. Those are just a few examples so I guess I'm just curious what you guys think dreams like that would mean, and also if it has anything to do with God or demonic influences? I have numerous nightmares every night like those, and it's starting to worry me what it could be. Prayers my way would be so appreciated!!

Acts 2:17 and 2 Corinthians 11:14. Both use dreams. Usually if it's God, it's good. If it's Satan, it's bad. Proverbs 3:5-6

Don't invest a lot of trust in dreams. Dreams are just our minds way of working through issues. Just because they have a strong emotional effect doesn't make them spiritually relevant. I had a friend who had a dream her son died. She was shaken by it for days. This was years ago. He's still alive.
She had a dream like that about me, as well. She couldn't wait to talk to me to make sure i was ok, the dream was so scary and real. Yet here i am, years later. Granted the bible does say God can communicate through dreams, that doesn't mean we are to go out seeking meanings just because we dream. If you really want to know if it's God or not (and likely not) then keep it to yourself, pray about it and ask HIM to show it to you. Don't run out seeking advice of other people to direct you to what God is, or isn't, telling you.
Most people who chase after dream meanings end up disappointed because they're trying to force God into their dreams, rather than seeking God first and if He uses the dream, so be it.

I don't necessarily think it matters. Although I had a dream a girl I was seeing fell for another guy. Three days later she did and said she had been seeing him for a few weeks. Thought that was a little ironic. But after each nighmare or bad dream just read your Bible and pray in Jesus name. He conquers any evil spirit or negativity.

Yes he dose, or they do get in through dreams and stuff, keep yourself in the company of those who care for you in Christ. Check out my testimony 'finding my family'.

Easy fix....before you go to sleep pray....ask God to help you have peace in your sleep......
I know it sounds so simple.....but it works for me .....I dont even have dreams anymore.....
I also find.....if something is from God ...there is no doubt...no question....no asking ....if He wants
to tell you something.....it will be clear ....it will be good ...and never confusing.....
