The son of a lady in church is on drugs. He is 25 years old and has ADD. He has been abusing them to and fro for about ten years. He has been in rehab, both medical and christian several times, but keeps falling back. For a while now it seemed like he was doing better, he was staying away from everything and seeking God again, but now he is back to old habits. He is using hard drugs and wants nothing to do with Jesus.

. He has been offered a place on a rehab center in March, so they are trying to once again get him into a christian one while they wait for the place there.

Please pray for him and his family, that He will get into the right place and be freed of his chains, and that his family will find hope while it lasts. There seems to be nothing anyone can do but pray.

Please tell this woman that another mom from across the world understands. Three of my children have adhd. It is a blessing but also a great challange.
I understand that which is held in her heart. I will pray for her son every day from this day forward. Remember that those that have wandered far are often the ones that find great faith and love in Jesus.
God bless, pickles

I will pray for this person and his family. Here are some scriptures to use as often as needed:
Ps. 17:4 "...by the Wiord of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer."

Ps. 28:7 "the Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped..."

Ps. 107:20 "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

This guy still needs prayer, I do not have direct contact with him or his family, bot from what I do know it seems he is in a hard spiritual battle, in addition to the abuse. He seems to be shifting between wanting to fix it and hating God. Please pray he finds his way again

Dear wwjd_kilden,

I will pray for him also................Please check out these two ministries............ www.laughcry.org and www.beinhealth.org Please understand a simple truth about ALL ADDICTIONS.............They are rooted in a need to be loved. When we ARE NOT loved, we as creatures created to BE LOVED will grab anything that's available, TV, sex, food etc., etc.

The physiological reason for this is because there is a release of a chemical/hormone called seratonin. GOD designed us to recieve "all of our supply of needs from HIM". When we don't know how to do this, we will settle for anything that will do.............even if great harm comes from the "side-effects". When we co-operate with GOD and do it His way, then our CHEMICAL/PHYSIOLOGICAL systems work and function the way they were designed to. (This in medical terms is called Homeostasis- which means physical well-being)

This DEFINATELY applies in the spirit realm as we

I don't know if this person is willing to take a closer look at the teachings mentioned above, but I will pray (and you agree with me) that he will.

Where two or more agree as to touching ANYTHING, it shall be done of My FATHER in Heaven......................Tell others also to agree with us for him.

MANY BLESSING UPON YOU,

SeekinHIM

I am not sure if I fully agree with you there, as I know many that are loved but still are severely depressed. I will have a look at the links though. Thank you

Dear wwjd_kilden,

You just mentioned depression above. There are certain specifics when you factor in roots behind depression. Many variables involved usually, but there are many aspects of Christianity that many of us are not taught YET.........Such as OUR TRUE IDENTITY IN CHRIST................

Understanding why we needed to be BORN AGAIN (WHAT WAS DEAD).....What the first thing was that happened when we became BORN AGAIN. And what SIN really is. There are definately answers to all of these things and more. Like the reason why JESUS had a crown of thorns placed upon His head..............(NOT JUST HAPPENSTANCE OF CRUELTY)

To break the curse on mankind in the Garden................remember in Genesis it says, " Cursed is the ground because of you............In toil you will eat of it........All the days of your life......BOTH THORNS AND THISTLES IT SHALL GROW FOR YOU..............The bottom line is there are literally hundreds of "snags" or bondages that we as His children can get trapped in, but the GOOD NEWS is in Colossians 2 : 13 & 14- When you were DEAD in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of you flesh, He made you ALIVE together with Him having forgiven us ALL of our transgressions, HAVING CANCELED OUT THE CERTIFICATE OF DEBT CONSISTING OF DECREES AGAINST US, WHICH WAS HOSTILE TO US, AND HE HAS TAKEN IT OUT OF THE WAY HAVING NAILED IT TO THE CROSS.... Now that's a lot, and to try to break all of it down here, would be pointless at this time.............However, what this DECLARATION is saying, is everything the enemy had against us WAS COMPLETELY TAKEN CARE OF BY CHRIST.............The object is to stay before Him, declaring WE DON'T HAVE THE ANSWERS, in a state of humility, and then He will fill in the blanks..............

The nature of any ailment whether it is depression or addiction or cancer is not the point. (and I am in no way minimizing the pains and suffering associated with these or any dilemma) The point is FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE...................If GOD created all things, and that includes mankind, don't you think He can solve any problem we could possibly have? We have worked with many individuals that have had everything from cancer to lupus, to multiple sclerosis, to depression to addictions, and everyone of them is STILL SET FREE................

It's just a matter of learning how.

Be blessed Brother

Brother,

Faith is simply BELIEVING GOD TELLS THE TRUTH...............He won't lie, He can't. One of the most amazing aspects of Christianity, that is often overlooked or not known, is that the LORD WON BACK FOR US, OUR FREE WILL..................Now we can CHOOSE to believe HIM even if we don't feel like it. Emotions are great WHEN THEY LINE UP WITH THE TRUTH......................Otherwise, you can't rely on them.

Learning to TRUST GOD takes your whole life, but you can make headway each and every day. Remember always: Christianity is not a religion...(although it is categorized as one) Christianity is A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD..............

Relationships take time, effort, learning, experiencing EACH OTHER..............The point is this: YOU ARE HIS SON NOW.............LEARN ABOUT YOUR FATHER, HIS SON JESUS, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.................Get to know THEM. If you really put your "whole heart into it" the rewards will be so great, you will be awestruck with the results.

Be Blessed Brother...........
