Huge hugs, praying for you in Jesus's name for His loving arms to surround you, His joy to fill you, and His peace to comfort you.

It is in our weakest times, that in Jesus, God reviels His love and glory in our life, that when we want to give up, it is good to give all up in Jesus to God Our Father.

My fave scripture is,...
It is in our weaknesses, that God's power is made perfect, glorified.

Kira, you are in my daily prayers in Jesus for as long as you need.

Job lost everything...house, wife, sons...God restored it tenfold when he (Job) realized the truth. Read that book. I will pray for you for strength and wisdom to turn the tables on Satan.

Hey Nekisha_Kira, can I suggest that you sing Christian songs - even when you don't feel like singing. If you can't sing, play music. Hang Bible verses up on your wall - surround yourself with the Word. Pray that if there is anything in your life that is dis-pleasing to God, that He would reveal it to you. Know that this time is a time of growth for you, and it is strengthening you!
I pray that God would give you strength for your journey, I pray that He would give you the wisdom to deal with this stuff. I pray that you would be surrounded by a hedge of protection. I pray that as the Bible says, that the years the locusts have eaten will be restored. And I pray that God would bring people into your life to help you and support you through this time.

Sometimes we have to lose 'everything' to realize that when we have 'nothing' we actually have 'everything'. I don't mean to discourage you. I know what it's like to live without anything, I have been there - but while I was there this was the gem that I walked away with - that Jesus Christ alone is enough comfort and security for me. Everything else is just the bells and whistles. God bless.

dear heart...pass the tissues? i weep with you.

you know, when Jesus prayed for His own in John 17,
He specifically asked the Father to keep us from the evil one.

and since Jesus never asked for anything out of our Father's will...
it's a done deal. :)

the battle is the Lord's. He fights for you,
He loves you,
He will never leave you or let you go.

praying for you. ♥

Nekisha, I am a person that can relate to your situation as this has happened to me as well. I have gone from mansions to welfare. This has made my relationship even stronger with God. I look at the story of Jonah and how at the end Jonah complained about a tree dying that God had provided to give him shade. Read the book of Jonah. I know that God will take care of his people and restore those who have succeeded in not allowing life to convince them that he is not there. I am still here and you are still there, I have a total of $1.00 in funds and still not wanting for my needs to be met. The story of Job is an example of a man who kept his faith all through his trials and God blessed him. When Satan is attacking you, you know you don't belong to him; this is his way of getting you to become a member of his party. Stay with God and prove Satan is a liar, you have loved the Lord and you have faith in the Lord. I can see God blessing you graciously.
