Sister Spiritfilled In my 60 years of life,I have learned how many things can and will effect our own health. For me it was the stress I carried around me to worry about becoming fearful of people and there words,as well as my own concern doing the same to others.
All wrapped up in self,i had no time in my own mind to love,because I believed i needed so much love I was never willing to believe I deserved it,nor to be honest really wanted it.The reason my mindset was like this,is that I always believed that the only reason someone wished to be nice to me,is because, maybe not at present, but in the future they were going to expect something from me,something I would never be willing to either give them,or do for them. LOL
Caution took the place of love,and doubt took the place of confidence! So my own body started to fail because of this. Of course this was due to others!! Not me!! LOL Holy Spirit took me to a place in my mind about a story one older sister gave at one of our services,she never married,always was willing to help people,and knew everyone around thought she was just the tops!
One night she had a dream,and an angel of the Lord appeared to her in this dream,and said behold your life! There in a corner to which he pointed was some of the most dirt filled, rages she had ever seen! She then told the angel I never married,i have done so much for others to!How can you say this to me??
The angel replied, because those things you did, you did for self,to be seen by others, to make you look so holy and pure! Like that of the scribes and Pharisees did!( matt 6:1-4!!!) Spoke this scripture to her. She then cried,and saw her own heart! She said forgive me for being so selfish,and the angel said back,what causes a change in mindset? What causes one to have belief from unbelief?
And how is it,that people do not understand how they each are to measure themselves,upon the Word of God,first for there own life,then to both encourage others,as well as cause them through our Jesus to stay established? Her answer was in ones own life? Indeed in ones own life!( james 1:22)
A light causes all shadows to depart,yet that light does not look to shine on others but upon Jesus who lives in you pointing the way for others to follow!( matt 5:13-16!!)
For in all things that were created, were created to glorify our Jesus both in mind and in Spirit! Not to boast in what self has, or ever will accomplish.( 1 cor 1:27-31) It is not I who have done these things,but rather my Father in heaven who through me shows his love to you today.Go forth and do the same!
And you shall not only be healed but established in that healing which comes by the same grace and truth our Jesus has for each of us!( john 1:14,john 1:17) And so it was as this dear sister spoke unto us the things of the Lord,many came and were healed, and restored though Jesus words of grace.
She spoke out boldly,and confidently,because she understood the meaning of God's love! Upon the Word Holy Spirit spoke through her,I was healed,and restored in my own mind,that it is not the sex of the person,who bears witness,it rather is Jesus who can bear witness to all people,to shame the wise into wisdom,from what many people would say is foolish!( 1 cor 1:27)
Jesus corrects,and we are the result! But any result from Jesus is eternal,not temporary!( 2 cor 4:16-18) A renewed mind,is a healthy body,and a healthy body,is a light in Jesus for all to have! And best of all to always keep! My this minister both life to your flesh,and peace in believing always through our Lord's Word!!( rom 15:13!!!!) For hope for self and for others, is build upon God's ever present love for each of us,no matter our lack, or fault! Thank you Jesus!!
