Background:
First we will start at the beginning.
The body tag can change your background color. To change your background, we need to insert the following code -
. You can check for a color code below. Right now the colors are set the the default of your profile, white background, black text. To change the color, click the minus or plus buttons for red, green, and blue respectively. Also you can change the color by adding or subtracting H, S and V. You can change by how much an attribute is changed by setting the increments to the desired level. Click reset to change it back to the defaults.
Also you may be interested in setting a picture as your background, however you if you don't find a large enough background, or a background that looks ok titled, your profile won't look very good. Also you should not that some larger pictures will take longer to load and people won't like that. If it is to large and takes too long most people won't want to wait and won't look at your profile. Setting up a picutre as your background is basically the same as the color. You can only use one. The background or the color, not both. To use a picture, type
this follows the same rules as displaying images.
Font:
Once you've decided on a background color you may want to select a suitable font. You can use the color finder to select a font as well. To change your font color you will need to include the following code - Your text - if you don't add the tag after your text the rest of the text will remain that color throughout the entire page. Such as this test is red, and will remain read until I add the Like that. It is important to note that some fonts will not look very good on certain background colors. You may need to test several color fonts and backgrounds together before find a well fitting match.
Images:
Now on to adding an image. To add an image you will need to have a photo on the internet. You can get a free account to host images at Photobucket.com. If you get a photo bucket account you will need to upload a picture from your computer to your account and copy the link location that it gives you for your image. To get your image to display you add this tag to your profile - - For instance adding will display this image -

Well that about does it. Anything more advanced then that your can pretty much look up on Google. If you can find it there or you have trouble following any steps, just pm Eonasdan (usually in the Teens) and I will be glad to help you in whatever way I can. Thank you for using Christian Chat rooms.
