Since as Christians, Jesus' last words to us were to make disciples of all the world, maybe we need a whole forum to deal with this? I would love to talk about how to reach the lost for Christ.

I think this is a great idea and I'd love to have a forum like this as well :)

I support the formation of such a forum as well.

We come across so many roadblocks when we reach out to the lost - we need to think and prepare ourselves.
Discussion of apologetics, ways to strengthen ourselves, testimonies and other ideas could converge with this forum.

I hope this is taken note of.

Good idea. I am shy and have a hard time speaking to people about anything, especially my faith in Jesus. However, on occasion I feel the Holy Spirit leading me to tell someone that he loves them. The looks I get are so worth it. It's like they know I'm coming or something! God is so Good! I need prayer on gaining courage to really lead someone in prayer to Christ.

Books about evangelism cannot change your heart - that's between you and God. (Shining Like Stars by Douglas Jacoby)

We have to make a personal decision to face reality head-on and let your light shine.

This forum will challenge us of the following:

1. It will challenge you to overcome shyness and live boldly for the LORD.
2. It will draw your attention to opportunities God is giving you every day to reach out to those around you.
3. It is brimming with effective study materials you can use to help your non-Christian friends come to faith, and new
believers grow in their faith.

Add on more if you have in mind how this forum can help you. But before this, you have to contribute first the things you have already learned in the past how you reach out to people or even how it changed you reaching out to them. Because we once was reached out by someone either a family member, a friend or a stranger, we also have to do the same thing. I was reached out when I was in the restroom and a stranger saw my back bitten by ants. That was when she offered an ointment and invited me to their church. Some were invited in a public transportation. It was so easy to reach out back then, but as we have many crisis going on like Ebola or ISIS, people are more distant or aloof to strangers.

Just like Jesus, as he was walking along, he saw Simon and Andrews ...
Just like Jesus reaching out to the Samaritan Woman and she in return telling her hometown, "Come, could he be the Messiah?"

But for some, they first reached out to their best friend, office mates, classmates, or family.

First, I've reached out to my family, next my relatives like cousins, then office mates and friends. The last is strangers To the strangers, I'm just inviting them to come to church and give invitations. For some, I have friendships and relationships built so that I could share my faith and see the change in ME.

JOHN 15:5 English Standard Version
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

1 CORINTHIANS 3:6
New Living Translation
I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow.

Keep planting seeds, some will nurture them, but it was God who will make it grow.

Thank you for allowing me to share on your thread. God bless.
