In order to make sure we have rates locked in, we need to be able to make a group payment in full 90 days prior, afterwhich reservations become non-refundable. If we cannot get the full 20 people by that time, we will have to call it off and nobody pays anything. To put yourself on the list of attendees, I'd like to ask for a $50 deposit (refundable if we don't get 20 people in time). That shows that you're serious and we can count you in.

Frankly, if you don't feel you know us enough and don't feel led by the spirit to do so, please don't take that kind of step We'd LOVE to have everybody who can make it come, but the purpose is fellowship and fun. We intend to honor Christ in all areas of stewardship, be it time, money, or relationships.

I replied to you in the other thread, man. Needed to make the call and things weren't coming together for a worth-while Chicago itinerary that would be appealing to all age groups and interests. There IS always next time... this is the trial run for such a thing for C.C.

Oooo....both options sound super fun...how will I ever decide? Actually, I think Disneyworld and the Bahamas make it a little easier haha.

Yeah this is an awesome opportunity to meet people but i know for some of us its hard to go to these locations because we are not near them but i do think having in the future many different CC meetings would be awesome like a region thing depending on where you live in the states or out of the country! I doubt ill be able to go only for the simple fact that im about to head to college and well everyone knows college kids have absoultly no money! but look forward to meeting people that are near by me! Ive met 5 people from CC and have enjoyed everyone of them!

This sounds like the coolest thing ever, and I wouldn't have to save up much more than I did for last year's vacation. Posibly less. But the way I saved up that money was by not buying any food except rice and eggs for several months. It looks like May 13th is the deadline for when we have to decide. Unless I did the math wrong. I won't vote until I get a good plan for saving up.

Obviously from being on the planning committee of this I voted *will attend no matter where it is*....BUT, I am more leaning towards Orlande/bahamas cruise myself.
(AND....keep in mind that there MAY be additional discounts that apply to both of these trips...but we painstainkingly worked out what we thought the final costs would be w/out any perks or discounts.)

It seems to me... you could cut the price in half if you just come Thursday afternoon and bypass all of the expensive hotels, amusement parks and pizza socials. Lol!

I would love to come - but it's not for sure, I'd first need to save all that money. Should I still vote? I'm leaning towards Dallas, just because it's cheaper.

To address the first part, (listen up folks) regardless of whether you want to take advantage of all parts of the trip or not, since the group budget is based on dividing up costs (and discounts) between everyone, the cost is fixed as advertized. It will not INCREASE. It MAY decrease, depending on how many confirm. Worst case scenario - 20 people DON'T sign up or don't come up with the money by the deadline, and we have to call it all off.

To address the second part, if you have any intention of TRYING to go, please go ahead and vote. Naturally, we want to give the most say to the people who are planning on being there.

I would like to have given the voting options of "I will go to either, but I PREFFER Dallas / Orlando". Maybe it's not too late.. I'm not sure.. (Alayna? - since I know you're going to be following this thread like a hawk - can you contact me with feasibility on making changes to the poll?)
