I have only been here a week, but in that time it seems to me OSAS has more or less drowned everything else out in bible discussion, so a lot of other interesting things get buried like views for example on Communion, St. Paul etc.

Would it not make sense to have a few sub forums eg Salvation, St. Paul, Body and blood, church fathers / early Christians, miscellaneous New Testament that threads etc so that topics are kepttogether and people can find subjects that interests them, or places a question will not get drowned out..

Good suggestion!

Or perhaps start merging threads that deal with the same topic? It seems reasonable to assume that this would reduce the number of threads in question.

Thanks.
Merging would work, but would probably be more onerous on overworked mods time, than asking participants to choose an appropriate sub forum.

You make a very good point.

Or maybe we should just have both a Bible Discussion Forum and Bible Argument Forum? (my tongue is only slightly firmly in cheek)

So basically what you're proposing is a CATHOLIC Forum? Yeah, that will happen.
