I think we have a lot of "Pleases" but not enough "Thank yous" when it comes to prayer. Perhaps a forum where we could just brag on our Lord for some of the great things He has done for us, would help increase our appreciation for Him. I will start. I'm a father of four and have been laid off for over a year now. When times were getting particularly tight, something always came up, to bring money in. I am starting back to work today and just want to say praise the Lord! Even though I haven't made much money this year we still always had good food to eat, a roof over our head, transportation, and the kids didn't have to stop any of their activities. This time of unemployment has helped me to get into a closer and trusting relationship with our Heavenly Father. I couldn't have done it on my own, thank you Lord.
