Ok, so it seems certain threads have people who spend all day trolling and wasting everyones time with inane comments and stupidity. I understand having non-believers on the forum but these people arent non believers, they are closed minded antagonists trying to hinder good discussion. Would it be possible to remove them?

If you're talking about the bible forum, it gets pretty heated in there.. People trying to prove a point, others trying to prove it wrong and people who will argue to the death to say their right and everyone else is wrong. You better have a coat of armor on if you're gonna venture in there..lol.. :)

Im absolutely fine arguing a point, but some people have shown themselves to be trolls, nothing else

basically, i want real discussions, but the people i would have these discussions with dont seem to be able to ignore the trolls.

If they aren't breaking a rule they can't be banned. If they are you can report them. Though be aware that most reporting that takes place is viewed as nothing more than personal/doctrinal differences and not actually breaking any rules. And reporting doesn't always mean getting banned. So use reporting sparsely and make sure it's a rule violation and not someone you just dislike or disagree with.

There are some who only seem to want to "shoot everyone else down" instead of [ actually ] having a discussion about a particular / specific topic... :(

One man's troll is another man's prophet, that's just the way it is.

But seriously, we can not see the emotions in some people which cause some harsh reactions, only the typings.

ok, we should not do this, but that's human.

There will always be trolls around, people who try to test us, but don't let them get to you. :)

Are they trolls because they disagree with you and you don't like it?

I totally agree with you...but you can't fix S.T.U.P.I.D...only the HOly Spirit can renew those minds..like HE renewed mine! It would be totally awesome to see only valid spiritual discussions and studies focused purely on CHRIST..but alas..welcome to the internet where the world rules and CHRIST gets back seat.
