i am very reluctant to hit the report button... i reserve it for dire situations.
i figure those who moderate and administrate the site have quite enough to deal with. (us!)

but how does one go about reporting a new member whose user name is offensive?
this person has made no posts, last time i checked, but is dropping 'likes' everywhere
so one sees this offensive name over and over.

apologies to whomever has to attend to this!

Someone out there figured out how to exploit the "like" system on CC. The recent rash of "likes" from offensive nics are NOT from approved registered nics. I have alerted our webmaster to the situation, but it may take a few days to close the exploit.

So this explains why there are several new user names created in the last day or so (all in caps), some with no posts.

It's something new for me. I've NEVER gotten THAT many likes in one day.. lol
A couple of different users at different times have taken part in some friendly trolling that has resulted in hundreds of "ghost likes". I logged in once to have over 1,000 likes.

Not at all.

You log in and see that you have 1,256 likes, click to see which posts were liked and find that only 3 new likes are there.

It's gonna take a few days to plug up the hole that they are using. Until the hole is plugged there is no way to stop them without completely closing off taking new registrations.
