Howdy,

When I am replying to a post, and as I am entering the first line of my text, if I try to go back and edit something in that first line, whatever I enter gets posted to the line above my text.

Example:

"This is the furst line."

When I go back and change "u" to "i", the result looks like this:

"i
This is the frst line."

Furthermore, if I try to add something to the end of that first line, the result will look like the following:

"Addition.
This is the first line."

Is there anything that can be done to correct this?

Sometimes, if I add a couple of carriage returns to the first line before I try any edits, I can go back and add to the line.

Also I have found that if I (in regards to the first example) type an "i" on a different line, then cut it with CTRL X, I can then paste it with CTRL V into the correct position.

But, it seems to me that the editing software has a bug and I am wondering if that is something CC has any control over, or if that is just something we have to live with for now?

Thank you.

Easy solution. When you mispell a word, such as "furst", go back and place your mouse cursor in the back of the "u" and backspace once, then type the "i". Then place your mouse cursor back to where you were before you did the edit. :)

I will test that with this post. It seemed to work the way you said.

I will try to identify exactly how the problem shows up when it does.

Thanks. I really thought that was the way I was doing it.
