1. Salvation Forum - it appears about 70% of the discussion under the Bible Discussion Forum is about confusion regarding salvation and how it is obtained.

2. End Times Forum- Since we are seemingly in the final minutes of human history, it might be quite popular and again isolate much of the heated debates about such topics as the Rapture off of the Bible Discussion Forum.

~Thanks for listening.

A great idea
... but people tend to be bad at sticking to topics, so the moderators would probably have to "run around" and chase people and threads where they belong :p

That's true. I've posted threads that I later realized did not belong in that particular forum. But, if even a fraction of the "how do i know i'm/you're saved?" group moves to a different room it may open up other bible discussion topics.

The same could be said of Calvinism vs Armenianism. OSAS vs losing salvation. Pre-Post-Mid-Trib. Rapture vs no rapture. Catholic vs Protestant. As well as a few other topics that cycle constantly in the BDF. But Robo purposefully keeps the choices minimal as he doesn't want this site to become bloated and confusing.
And i know, your idea is special. But so is every other person that posts new Forum ideas. I, for one, am glad he doesn't implement a lot of new forum sections. I've been on sites that had a forum for every little thing. It was atrocious to navigate. Becomes confusing, particularly for new users, knowing where to post things. Or where to find things.
Besides, the problem isn't these niche groups or new users. It's the long time users. They've been creating new threads on the same topics for years. Every poster feels they need to start a new thread so they can have the first say and force everyone to read their argument. Ego is the problem, not a lack of forum options. If people would let subjects die and quit having to be right then you would see more topics. But the BDF is like the Hatfields and McCoys. They'll keep arguing and hating each other over the same things just because that's what they do, never mind how foolish it is.

And different argume...oh, never mind. Choose to remain optimistic here :).

It's a great idea, as kilden said. And do agree sir...we are in the final minutes.
