So I was searching the internet, and I found another Christian forum in my searches. I thought Id check it out, and see what it was like, and checked out a thread.

Well, in my quick search the vast majority of those who responded to the OP were not Christian. I know this because theres a little thing beneath a members username with a "status" option that gives people the ability to publicly show their own beliefs. And of all the people who responded, one was a Christian, the rest of course being atheists and pagans and even a buddhists, and for the most part the whole site seemed to be a way for others outside the body of Christ to come together and team up against His followers. It made me feel pretty unhappy.

While there is importance to such a thing, as a way for His followers to reach out to others, I also believe that places like these are important as well. I am thankful for having a site that focuses on the importance of Christ, and does not make room for others to come and speak out against Him. There are always new Christians who need and desire guidance, and Im glad for places like this for them to come and find help in, where they dont have to worry about others who would seek to guide them to anything but Christ.

So yeah, thanks for this website : p

Years ago I tried another Christian website, this was the other way.
It was way too strict, little old me got two warnings in the first week.

One was for posting a news link to an article, I got warned because the
web page containing the news article had a small side story (which I never
noticed) about something to do with nightclubs and drunks or something like that.
Hardly anyone posted news links, as there was nearly always an advert
or other article on the same page as the link which the site owners disapproved of.

I cant remember what the second warning was for but it was something to do with
my sense of humour which was misunderstoood.

Sooo, couldn't make jokes, couldn't post news links, couldn't dispute anything, apart
from saying you disagree and then leave it at that (no one on here would stand
a chance!).

That just left the prayer forum and talking about the weather! There is only so
many times you can say it's raining!

an awesome and so honest POST, TY so much YB, you do have a special way about you:):)...

we have visited some other 'so called ''christian' chat rooms' with some 'not to nice or good experiences', but
we were so grateful for what we learned there, it was a very good help in our Spiritual Education!
also, at some of the cites, we did meet and make some precious friends by and by...
so, it really was all good in the 'long-run'...
