Wow! Talk about ignorance. It is a simple sentence.... try hard, you can read it.
Willie, humility shouldn't be this hard for us. Because you are so dang stubborn and afraid to admit your ignorance on this, I'm gonna have to dig out the context of the quote: Please read more than just the opening blurb:

So this is what is INSIDE the Jacket:

We continue to receive many questions concerning the "Rapture" of the church and its apparent contrast with the "Second Coming" of Jesus Christ. Where does this strange view come from? Is the term "rapture" even in the Bible?
Clearly, the idea of the Rapture can be considered the most preposterous belief in Biblical Christianity. It reminds me of the famous quote by Dr. Richard Feynman, speaking of quantum physics:
I think it is safe to say that no one understands quantum mechanics... in fact, it is often stated of all the theories proposed in this century, the silliest is quantum theory. Some say that the only thing that quantum theory has going for it, in fact, is that it is unquestionably correct.
The situation regarding the doctrine of the Rapture is painfully similar.

There is a ton more, and even videos I can post to enlighten you, or you can just admit you were ignorant about Chuck on this issue.

His book from where you got your quote is a book on the defense of the rapture.
Well if you state that from reading the book, then that restores my faith in his precarious mental status. I only saw that jacket quote yesterday, and it surprised me. I figured that anyone who believed in Alien Spacemen also would believe in the "Surprise" Rapture.

If he, indeed, does believe in the surprise Rapture, then he goes right back where I thought he always was.

Hi all

I have just started reading the OT and finished Genesis today, but I am looking for a good preacher online I can watch who takes us through the books...I have seen a few but so many comments are made against them saying they are wolves etc, I just do not know who I can trust to help me in my study, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend to me someone who is trust worthy, I have been walking with our Lord for just over two years, so reading the OT is very new to me, and I do not want to fall into someone who preaches lies, I just want to take precaution, I hope someone can help me and thank you...:)...xox...

Retreating from conflict with those opposed to God's ways, and giving in to defeat by Satanic forces in society is not what Dominions feel God expects of us. That extends to declaring Satan has won control of the world, and that we have only one hope left to us, praying to be snatched out of "his" world through a Rapture, and surrendering the world to him.

They do not feel Satan is stronger than the influence of The Holy Spirit, and that we are supposed to be the feet and voices of that Spirit .

Should also point out the complete inability to apologize for being utterly proven wrong, and instead just continue attacking the person defamed.

Well, then I have to go back to disagreeing with Chuck. I believed just like most of you do. Yes, I just believed what I was told... that there was a surprise Rapture........ Until I actually began studying to see what the bible said about the subject, instead of just looking up the "proof" verses from various parts of the Bible to find what I was supposed to find.

I guess you are blind too.

What you just went to the trouble of finding to post is not a statement of my beliefs. Notice the word, THEY, all through it.

Although I think Dominions have a pretty good handle on a few things.... what you quoted was simply an answer to someone about what Dominions believe.

Surprise Rapture.

I was debating this with a friend, and finally told him there was DEFINITELY going to be a surprise rapture,
but God told me I was the only one going.

Then I didn't call him for 6 months.

I think he had a personal revival.

It was a straight, copy/paste quote from the jacket of his book. He was not asking a question in that sentence; he was making a plain and clear statement of how he believes.
I was not familiar with the book you thought you were quoting. I only knew that what you said was not something Chuck Missler would say or believe.

No trouble at all Willie. As I said. You could have simply gave your suggestion to Rosemary and moved on. I didn't reply to your 1st swipe at Chuck, but you couldn't resist defaming him further. Took about 5 seconds to dig up your absurd belief.

Here ya go saying your beliefs line up DIRECTLY with the domino guys!

Quote by Willie:
I would never jump on you about that. My own thinking lines up directly with Christian Reconstructionism (Dominionism) than it does with Retreatism or Defeatistism..... except for the returning to living under the condemnation and punishment of disobeying the Law. If we live with that hanging over our heads, why did Jesus bother to come?

Are you just blind, or totally without the capability to comprehend reading? Did you miss the comparison? That I agreed very directly with Dominion beliefs that we should fight for Christ instead of just rolling over and giving the world to Satan?

I've never seen one of his books. I just looked up his books on Amazon, and read what he put on his jacket. If it was simply some trick to say what he didn't believe, in order to get a person to buy his book, then my estimation of Missler falls even lower. I did not add one word to his statement. He did not indicate that "others" were calling the Rapture PREPOSTEROUS, but he was going to defend it.

It's kind of disappointing that he is just another Lemming following after the Rapture song.

And do tell... How's that dominion doctrine working for ya?

Fires, floods, earthquakes, murder galore, homosexuality, and all sorts of deviancy not only rampant, but glorified by society AND GOVERNMENT. Wars, and rumors of wars, pestilences, and let's not forget those pesky Jews being back in the land.
If domino doctrine were right, you guys should be fired!

No, thankfully it will be the Lord Jesus Christ Himself that will bring about the Kingdom, ON EARTH!

You're not just blind, you are as thick as a brick too. I am not Dominionist. I am solidly against many of their beliefs. They have their heads buried as much in the sand on some things as you do on others.

BTW, it is obvious you haven't the slightest idea what they believe. I understand.... I also had all those crazy ideas you expressed before I learned what they actually believe.

Good night Willie. Have a blessed week brother.
That was just a shower. I'm through, and will still be up for a half hour, or so. We ignorant people don't know any better.
