tag a thread?

so i think it would be cool if there was a way if you could tag someone in a thread. like the birthday thread for example, say you want to wish them a happy birthday and you want to make sure they read the post so you could tag them in the thread.
i dont know if it is possible, but i think it would be pretty cool and kinda helpful! =]

That would be a modification to the core functionality of the forum script/software (vBulletin)... I don't think I can easily do that... and don't think I should. It's possible that a future version of vBulletin may have a feature like that.
