I, too, am a disabled senior (according to Fed. law) with no family or friends, a shut-in with only my Service Dog. Why can't we start a Disabled/Senior Chat ourselves?

You can start a disabled/senior chat group, and feel free to do so. Click your profile, then click "Join Chat Groups" on the left-hand side of your screen, then click "+create group". I wish you the best!

I wouldn't like be put off in a corner in a special category. My interests are in knowing all there is to know about my Lord and how He operates our world. Each of us understands that just a little bit differently, and that isn't age related.

I am also interested in being a prayer warrior and giving a helping hand, and that isn't age related, either.

I don't want older people to leave us. Why would we want to separate ourselves from our elder's wisdom?

Sometimes, due to the icky results that come from Christians sitting excessively in a Christian chat room for excessive hours a week, sometimes I think a Christian chat should primarily consist of shut-ins/disabled in the first place. Shut-ins/disabled are really the the only ones who may have any business being in a chat room a BUNCH in the first place. For them it may be their only outlet.

Ironically, the disabled chatters i know of, spend less time sitting in a chat room than their more able bodied brothers and sisters in Christ. Which in my opinion should make more able bodied users of chat reevaluate their potential excessive sitting in chat rooms.

Hi Okiemary1946
I am almost a senior I am forty nine and I spend a lot of time at home, due to being disabled and living in the hot southwest,
I have also never been in a chat room. I welcome you personally. May you find friends here.
