Since there are the Christian Family, Christian Singles , Bible Discussion forums etc, how about starting an "Unemployed Christian" forum where one can discuss various issues related to being unemployed?

Thanks

I am a Sub Custodian for the School District and I havent workd in about 4-5 months. So I keep praying and going to be looking for another job. But If we leave it all in God's hand's We will all be fine.

Wow I have been looking for work here for a long time. I am interested in that so we can pray for each other and keep each other encouraged.

A thread to help members with networking and job searching would be great. A thread to simply once more state that your out of work and the results thereof would not. We are to trust in God that His timing is perfect.

ugly you realy hate people posting in old threads hey
Seeing as how 90% of the time they are responding to a person that is no longer even on the site, that gets old? So what?
chillax bro let them talk to their invisible friends. youll get high blood pressure
I would like to suggest that a different perspective may be helpful here...

If we consider that the viability and usefulness of a thread generally should be thought of as being based on the topic of discussion rather than the person who wrote the initial post that starts the discussion - then we should understand that - at any particular point in time, if the topic is still viable and useful, it is perfectly valid to continue the discussion.

Discussions may "lapse" for days, weeks, or even months - before the discussion resumes. How long the lapse may be before it renders a thread no longer resumable would probably depend a lot on the topic of discussion.

I suggest that the significant affecting factors vary from topic to topic.

Ugly:

"Don't let it get to you..." ;)

I'm not your 'bro' and i don't 'chillax'. In fact, i don't remember saying i was upset at all. So keep your unfounded accusations to yourself.

That's right folks, if you like an idea, don't bump an old thread, start a new thread. Oh wait, Ugly hates it when you do that also.

I know, we should all just keep our comments to ourselves. Problem solved.

And Ugly, no need to respond to this. I'll do it for you:

I see your back to your old tricks. Attacking me when i've done nothing to you. Easy way to solve that though. The ignore function will work wonders.

You see, my problem with that is, ignoring you does nothing for the people you hurt. I'm doing this for them and for you, not for myself. I don't think you're a bad type of guy, but seriously, people who are unemployed and want a way to "keep each other encouraged"? Those aren't the kind of people we're supposed to be rude to. Don't forget:

"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

Gosh Ugly, God bless you, but what's the difference between attacking and doing what you do? Maybe I'm just 'direct' and you don't like that?
