I suggest that we are allowed more than 2 minutes to edit a post. I don't know the reason for the time limit, but it is way too short. By the time we read our post and try to make an edit, the time is up. Maybe 5 minutes?

Thanks.

I'll pitch in here with another voice! On my regular forum (Theology online), I can edit as long after as I choose - which helps me say things clearly. This format makes me feel all *shudder* conversational.

;)

Ohhhhhh that's what I need......to be able to edit even hours later....coz, I'm usually on here late at night and sometimes the next day when I see what I've written after a good night's sleep, I'm like...doh!! ....that made no sense....hehe :D....for example I used 'her' instead of 'who' once......scratches head...

I thought because I was new here, I was just a bit too slow and needed to get a hang of this forum. I am so glad people feel the same way I do about this issue. Please, increase the edit timeframe to 4-5 minutes.

God bless.

Hmm well...........

The only problem is that some people are quick to find new posts and quick to reply. Somebody may be already typing a reply to your original post (while you're editing it), and they may be actually quoting your original post. See what I mean?

I could possibly change it to 5 min... but I don't know if I want to stretch it any longer than that.

There is however another solution. Before you make your post, simply "Preview" it, and it will show you exactly how it will look when posted. It will be just like posting it (but it won't actually post until you confirm). If you don't see the "Preview Post" button, simply click the "Go Advanced" button, and it will give you that option.

You see what I mean?? It took you gals like 1 and a half min to respond to my post!! :D I just now posted and bang! Now two responses already. Now what if y'all had actually quoted me and then I edited it and changed it all? :D

I just happened to see it at the right moment.
I'd just edit my own post. I've done it before.
