like i feel that we should get the ability for everyone to talk on the mic. for instance like sometimes ppl would go in and sing and play music and like it would be awsome if we can all sing along but we cant because we have a mic for only 1 person to talk..
i think it would be really cool :D

Good idea in an ideal world, but it doesn't translate to chat well.

If everyone has an open mic and then open speakers at the same time, there is TERRIBLE feedback and echo.

This would only work if EVERYONE used headphones instead of speakers. Because if folks entered with just speakers on, you'd spend more time tellin folks to only use headphones and to get their speakers off, than you would enjoying the conversation.

They already tried that before a few months back, and as far as I could tell, it sounds better on paper.

I agree. I like your idea, Danya, and there are times when I really wish more than one person could be on the mic, not only for singing, but also for being able to have a more realistic conversation. It might prevent people from hogging the mic so much. Still, it is possible that it could be chaotic, and the mic-hogging problems might even be worse: i mean, imagine a normal mic hog with the ability to actually interrupt other people. I don't know. I think it would be good to try, or to maybe have one or two rooms (like yousing) where it is allowed.
