I have already made these suggestions to Stilly, but thought I'd post a thread here anyways. I think we need a Yousleep room, and here is my reason. I am kinda creeped out by the notion of people who sit in the room for hours on end and dont participate. It has often made me wonder if they are lurking (ie watching/ listening and not participating - which is just weird and creepy) or if they are sleeping. I have noticed some people are always logged in but not always here ie: they leave the computers on while they sleep. So here's my thought.. I think we should have a Yousleep room. Anyone who is in a room and inactive for more than set period of time is automatically sent to that room. Or, if you're one of those people that likes to chill in CC at 3am (because you can't sleep, or you have no life) then Yousleep is the room for you... we can even hand out virtual pillows.

Okay next Idea....
A CC noticeboard/newsletter/bulletin thinggy! Keeping everyone up to date with the latest CC news. eg: If someone gets married, has a baby, gets a job.. or any other general news. that we (the members of CC) might like to be kept up to date with. After all we are one big happy family. It could even have a classifieds section with a buy and swap/sell section. So my brain was working overtime today... what'ya all think??

How about a youjail? instead of being kicked and able to log right back on you get kicked to the youjail and are sentenced to five minutes in that room!
Oh and internet is provided!

Not that I do it, but what is wrong with hanging out in the rooms and not participating?

Sharp, I just don't like it when people are in the rooms for hours on end and don't say a word. It's kinda creepy. It's gotta make you wonder what their reason for being there is. Unless they've fallen asleep, and forgotten that they're still logged in (which is why we need a time-out, or status options) you wonder why they'd be in here and not say anything...you know what I'm saying? I've been in the room for like 4hrs and seen people logged in who've not once said a single word... I've addressed them personally, and they haven't responded. It's creepy!

Maybe there could be some to way to have a person "timed out" if they haven't participated in an hour or so . . .

That would be fine Lynn, either that or status options, so if they wanna remain logged in but are away or unavailable or whatever.. at least then everyone knows. I guess the only thing with that is, you can't really make everyone utilise the status options. A time-out is probably a better option in the long run.

I agree that status would be good. Whatever option works best would be great.
