They do mean something, but a suggestion is just that. An idea put forth for consideration. Does not mean there's an obligation to do it. In reality many of the suggestions given don't seem useful. Much of it just has to do with a persons personal interests (rooms for 'x' subject).
Also, Robo is in the process of rebuilding the forums and chats. He may be taking more suggestions than you see and implementing them in the new version, rather than adding to the current system.

I think maybe that was what he was referring to, a bit hard to tell if it was though, I guess that was the intent :p

As in "take them into consideration", i.e. addressed to the administration.

All suggestions are taken into consideration by Admin. Actually a couple of our newer forums are as a result of suggestions made here. Some other features that have been requested are possibly going to be implemented in site upgrades that are under construction currently.

Do remember too, that it takes time and resources/manpower to implement any and all features. It helps to donate; especially if you'd like to see something that's approved expedited. :)
