I saw RoboOps comments that he has been trying to keep advertisements off this site.
This is just a thought and I don't really know how it would work out in practice. Maybe CC could offer a free lite service and then charge for the heavier video-cam video streaming services. Personally I could live without the live streaming video and I don't have a web cam anyway. And for those that want it maybe a small monthly charge for the small video window and more for the larger video window. Most people, with web cams, just use the small video window. The larger video must certainly take a heavier toll on your server and bandwidth resources. Would that be better than relying on haphazard donations?
Again its not my intention to make everyone cross but it would be a way to keep the site open to everyone but the heavier resource uses would help fund it.
