Is there a room we can name or designate for Prophecy & End times and maybe call it Prophecy?
There are allot of people who like to discuss it and we don't want to dominate a room with that one topic on a regular basis.

It has already been an issue and designating a room like that would probably resolve that problem.

I agree a Prophecy & Endtimes Chat Room would be awesome and then this would not be a problem in the bible room. There are many who love to talk about prophecy on this site.

I also agree many of us are interested in the endtime and prophecy. If we cannot discuss this in bible study we definitely need a place that we can discuss it.

Some mods and members were concerned that Prophecy & Endtimes were dominating the Bible Study room, a solution would be to have a room for Prophecy & Endtimes.

If a room isn't made for just this topic, the other solution is to simply be considerate of other chatters.

I know you feel passionately about this topic. There are a million ways you can wrap this issue up with legit sounding, spiritual sounding justifications, to make it sound like you should be allowed to focus on this over and over. But when it's all said and done, there are other chatters on this website with many interests and you need to be considerate of them.

So if this room isn't made, the other solution is going to be showing some consideration to chatters and not viewing this topic as so important you can dominate night after night with it.

By the way, thanks for the suggestion. I don't want to make it sound like I'm discouraging suggestions. I'm just trying to explain that we may not be able to make a room for every special topic, so in light of that, just be considerate and allow for some give and take in the rooms.

I feel Prophecy & Endtimes is one the most important topics in the bible, everything in the bible, everything in Christianity centers around judgment day and end times.

We are supposed to as Christians make ourselves right with God, preach and share the word of God, so others can make themselves right with God and find salvation.

God himself chose a nation of people for this task as well, God himself is signifying the importance of the end times and it's warnings.

All of that is based on the concept that a day of judgment is coming...

I can't speak for anyone else but that strikes me as being VERY important and having a room for that purpose would be beneficial to anyone who wants to be ready,
this way we can freely talk about this without someone complaining, or that it doesn't impose on someone else.

Christians shouldn't be stifled when speaking the word of God, especially when 90% of the room wants to hear it...

Ask God the importance of free will, we shouldn't have to clam up as soon as a moderator comes in the room for fear of being scolded or receiving a ruler across our knuckles for talking about any part of the bible.

To assume a room like this wouldn't work before trying it makes no sense.

This comment was not written to be disrespectful, but to illustrate how important it is to allot of people who come here..

Thank you and God Bless....

There are chat rooms here that for certain topics or groups of people such as prayer, singles, teens, text only, music, etc. Prophecy is biblical and very important for the body of Christ and there are many members on this site who enjoy discussing prophecy and endtimes.

I don't think it's a matter of 'stifling the word of God'. It's just a matter of being considerate of other chatters.

For example, if I called your radio show some time and said, "I want to talk about revelations for your entire show, and if you don't cancel all your music and discuss MY issue, then you're stifling the word of God."

If I said that, wouldn't it sound kind of unreasonable? You refusing to cancel your show's content so I could talk about prophecy all hour wouldn't make you a 'stifler of God's word." It would just make you a responsible DJ who's trying to run a Christian radio show.

When a moderator tries to tell folks not to dominate on ONE topic, it doesn't make us stiflers of God's word, it just makes us people trying to be responsible moderators of a chat room.

You can appeal to the importance of any topic by giving a long list of some very spiritual sounding reasons. And you can justify the dominance of a given topic by appealing to that list.

So please don't live in fear and trepidation of a mod coming in and asking you to change topics if that topic has been going on for a LONG time. A request to change topics, is simply a request to change topics. It shouldn't be viewed as this fear instigating, stress causing event.

Users should be concerned if they don't follow a request once it's been made, but there shouldn't be any fear about a moderator making a request. If a moderator asks you to change topics, just view it as a friendly nudge that it's time to move topics.

It's not an attempt to stifle God's word, quench the Spirit, stop the propagation of the gospel or any other violation of the list of reasons you view this topic as important.

You have a certain structure to your radio show, and your failure to do someone's favorite pet topic doesn't make you a stifler of God's word. And us moderators trying to have a certain structure in chat doesn't mean we're stifling God's word.

Have you considered changing your show to a two hour long show just on prophecy? It be a great instrument to propagate this passion you have for prophecy.

People have always wanted to know the future, and they will often seek just about every possible source except the Bible. Large circulation newspapers often publish a horoscope. The idea is that your birth date somehow determines your characteristics and prophetic events at certain times of the year, and this is supposedly determined by the position of constellations in the heavens.
Others pay mediums to read a crystal ball, and sometimes try to communicate with the dead. Others read Tarot cards for prophetic interpretations. Millions of people look to séances, channeling, and astrology for power and insight. They dabble in the occult and seek answers from soothsayers and mystics. They even fellowship with witches, mediums, and sorcerers. Will all these reveal God’s will for you? Of course not! God calls these practices an abomination (Deuteronomy 18). There is a world of spirit deception. God tells us that Satan the devil has deceived the whole world (Revelation 12:9). He has deceived you and me. But God can help us see through the devices and deceptions of the devil.
Bible prophecy reveals the sequence of events in the end-time and the dangerous times ahead. Your Bible reveals that Armageddon and World War III lie on the horizon. The world faces terrorism, major famines, pestilence, and severe natural disasters: earthquakes, tsunamis, cyclones, and hurricanes. With war, sickness, suffering and pain all around us, many people are tempted to lose hope. But did you know that Bible prophecy reveals vital truths about the future of the world—and your own destiny? Beyond a soon-coming time of great tribulation lies a future time of world peace under the Kingdom of God. Your Bible reveals that the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, will return to teach all nations the way to peace. Under Christ’s loving rule, in the prophesied time known as the Millennium, the world will prosper with clean air, clean water and sustainable agriculture.
We are living in the prophetic period of time that your Bible identifies as the end-time. When you come to understand the prophecies in your Bible, you will see that these are exciting times, leading up to the return of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords, and the establishment of His Kingdom on the earth!
Bible prophecy is exciting to many, but some Bible prophecies may seem hard to understand. The books of Daniel and Revelation feature various symbols and imagery. When ancient King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon dreamed of a mysterious statue made of different metals and clay, the prophet Daniel interpreted the dream’s meaning (Daniel 2:1–45). The famous Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse symbolize devastation and deception (Revelation 6:1–8). The Beast of Revelation 13 rising up out of the sea has seven heads and ten horns. The Beast of Revelation 17, which rises out of a bottomless pit, also has seven heads and ten horns, but that Beast is ridden by a harlot. The Apostle John writes what he sees in vision: "And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH" (Revelation 17:5).

Disregard what I'm going to type if you feel it doesn't apply to you, but if it hits home, please take it in to consideration.

I almost feel like there is a certain outlook that is saying, "My topic is very important. Here is a list of reasons why. See my list? Now please let me dominate chat with this topic."

This outlook seems so passionate about their topic that there isn't even a willingness to give just a little bit of consideration to others in the room.

We're instructed in Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

This mentality seems to be saying, "No matter what you say, my issue is so important, I'm not going to budge one bit."

It seems to be saying, "My topic is so important I can't stop talking about it even for a little while out of consideration to others. I must have my own room so I don't have to stop talking about it. I can't stop talking about it for a little while, so others can talk about topics important to them."

This mentality doesn't reflect the concept of submission to one another we see in Ephesians 5:21. The reason some may want their own room is because they're just not willing to temporarily submit their interest so others can discuss their own interests.

Please take this in to consideration if you feel it applies to you, but if you search your heart and feel it doesn't apply, then just let it go in one ear and out the other.

Personally...I feel that while there is relevance in discussing end times stuff, of much more critical importance is one's readiness for the return of Christ, meaning: salvation and growth in the Christian walk and keeping short accounts with God. A whole room dedicated to this topic or any other specific topic is boardering on fixation which is not good. I mean, not even Jesus knows the hour of his return so why are so many getting hung up on it? Should it not be more important in realising that we are living in the end times, to make sure we keep our relationship with Christ the main focus and tell others about him at every opportunity possible rather than focus on the when, how the signs and what time?

I would love too dedicate the show to Prophecy, however we are paid to play the music we play on that program and we don't question those who pay our bills.

But I am seriously thinking about starting another show..

I do appreciate your attention on this, I just wish you could see our point. :)

God Bless You!

I agree that there are many important topics within Gods Word worth studing. And some of those topics ive already seen being discussed which is fantastic, but ive seen it in the prayer room, ive seen it in the yousing room, ive seen it in the random room and in the lounge as well as the Bible study room. Most of the time those subjects were brought up by people who dont spend a whole lot of time in the Bible study room anyhow. And some simply enjoy room hopping. I know i am new here to the site so my opinion probably isnt as important as another, and i admit there are so many here that know so much more than i do im not even close to knowing what even some of these young people discuss very intelligently and with passion and i think thats awsome the young people here are great, but what i also agree with is Power Praise when he said "everything in the bible, everything in Christianity centers around judgment day and end times." I dont think studing to show yourself approved, or preparing yourself for everything that Gods Word warns over and over again is going to happen is "fixation" I think its just simply having a yearning to be ready for His return. Part of getting ready is trying to understand what God himself repeatedly found important to reveal through prophesy. My overall opinion is if you have such a large crowd that wishes to continuesly discuss and learn about this important topic why not make a room for them? All these other topics can be discussed from what ive seen in every single room. But when it comes to people who simply want to discuss this one topic they have to stop. If they came into the lounge to discuss it would all those people stop their topics? Or the yousing room or any other? Even i can only listen to this topic for so long and then i take a break because some of it is over my head anyhow...but its sure been great to be able to go back and learn some more. I think this topic needs its own room. But thats just my opinion for whatever its worth. I think this is an awsome site, i appreciate the mods and the people ive met here so far and im glad i found it and its sad to see so many stressing over Gods word like this.

But when it comes to people who simply want to discuss this one topic they have to stop. If they came into the lounge to discuss it would all those people stop their topics?

The issue isn't about having to stop if it's even brought up. The issue is about not dominating a room with one topic.

If ONE topic is taking up a room and it goes on for a LONG time and others want to talk about something else, yes folks would be requested to stop and give others a chance to talk about something else. We'd ask this of any 'dominating' topic, whether it's prophecy, tithing, gifts of the spirit or proverbs.

No one should view their topic as so important that they don't have to share the room with those of other interests.

You could take any topic from the Bible and label it as important enough to have its own room. But that may not be feasible in this situation. Folks who like Hymns could request a new singing room just for hymns. Or people who like intercessory prayer could request a room just for intercessory prayer.

I think people just need to learn how to share. No one should view their topic as so important they can't simply quit talking about it for a while as others discuss something else.

Each room in chat seems to fit a broad category. Yousing allows for singing of many different things. Prayer allows prayer of many different kinds. Bible study allows Bible study of very different topics.

Instead of subdividing each room in to even more specific issues, why can't we just learn to share the room and not deem one's own pet interest as so important you can't stop talking about it for a while out of consideration to others?

My personal opinion is that by making people share the room, it may help build some spiritual fruit! It would teach folks how to submit to one another (Eph 5:21). It would teach folks how to treat others interests as more important than their own (Philippians 2:3-4).

I'm sorry I'm laboring this point so much, but I'm really sensing a mentality that's saying, "My issue is so important, I can't quit talking about it at times out of consideration for others, so give me my own room please." Again, if this perception is wrong, then please dismiss it.

There DEFINATELY IS validity in studying what the Bible says re: end times, however, I believe that crucial importance should be placed on being daily ready for that return if it were to happen today!

Having said that, we may not live to see that day at all so what really matters is where is our walk with Christ at! Do we take every opportunity to tell others about the faith we have and what Jesus can do for them? Isnt THAT the essence of living out the lessons on judgement and end times?

I do agree with Stilly on the point of rooms being created for everything, where would it end? As it is some rooms are not utilised to their potential.

We ALL have topics we are passionate about...ones which we could discuss, debate or wrangle with for hours. It is important however, to realise that while there are some who share your passion on a topic, not all will.

Its all about give and take, learning to cooperate, learning to live together by sometimes putting your own agendas aside and listening to another. This gives esteem to your bros/sisters as they share their passions too!

Ultimately as we share what is on our heart with each other we will all have the opportunity to learn and maybe have a revelation on a particular subject! If designated rooms were establised for certain subjects this could impede someone hearing something which God may use in their lives; simply because they were put off by the name of a room.

Ezekiel 33

Ezekiel a Watchman

1 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 "Son of man, speak to your countrymen and say to them: 'When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, 3 and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, 4 then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head. 5 Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had taken warning, he would have saved himself. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.' 7 "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 8 When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man will die for [a] his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. 9 But if you do warn the wicked man to turn from his ways and he does not do so, he will die for his sin, but you will have saved yourself.
10 "Son of man, say to the house of Israel, 'This is what you are saying: "Our offenses and sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of [b]11 Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, O house of Israel?' them. How then can we live?" '

If you read that passage above you will clearly see that taking out Prophecy and study of the End times is extraordinarly dangerous. We are to be watchman, we are to teach the word in full confidence of God.. Stifling and it is stifling, please refrain from the Political correctness here is very dangerous
There are many in here who are Asleep and they need to be woken up. Telling us that we can't speak God's word but only occassionaly is not good..

I dont' understand why you can allow a girl to down a miller lite on live webcam yet we can't discuss biblical issues. That reaks, and why you allow people to come in and talk about how much there postage is in Australia, yet we can't talk about biblical issues that are relevant. You can't remove Prophecy and end times from all Biblical issues it doesn't work. We need a Room of our own, as far as being polite and considerate to other chatters i see very little of it from many of them. When your talking and someone constantly interrupts you crying to get the mic. Now let me be clear I respect the rules I do, however if someone is gonna constantly run us down for speaking about what really matters then in my humble opinion should we even be called a "Christian" Chatsite rename it like they did with Godtube so your Politically correct and no one gets offended .

God Bless you
and last passage I want to put up

10Then he told me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near. 11Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy." 12"Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. 13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14"Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
17The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
20He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon."
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen.

No one is saying you can't discuss biblical issues. We're just saying you can't dominate a room with it all the time as other interests are excluded.

I remember in the room the other night specifically asking if folks understood that the issue is 'not dominating the room', we're not saying to stop talk about this all together. Everyone replied with a resounding yes that they understood the distinction. So I don't see why there is a perception that you can't talk abut this issue ever.

As far as someone drinking beer on cam or doing other wrong stuff, just because it happened on CC doesn't mean it's condoned. It probably happened when a moderator wasn't in the room or wasn't paying attention because they were attending to some other need.

It's not like CC has some sign on the homepage that says, 'Drinking beer on cam welcome, talking about the Bible unwelcome.'

I guess I just don't see why there seems to be such a firm resistance by some to the concept of having some give and take and not dominating the room with ONE topic for ever.

I don't see why folks interpret 'please don't dominate' as 'they're censoring me from talking about the word of God at all times'.
