I know nothing about photography. You know that. I saw your post about new lenses, and a new body, and all I could think was "wait until she's my age, she'll really want a new body". Then I read it three times, and convinced myself you meant the camera. Someone with photography knowledge needs to advise her.

nah He likes ugly , so we will stick with that .. Even though He's a Saint .. I know " St Ugly"
No, I'm not one Who gets testy with change , quite patient actually .. I've been watching Ken doing a beautiful job patiently working and waiting while the praise and worship team gathers formation and it's quite something!
takes good leaders and I appreciate the efforts just to be able to gather and get to do what we do now .. I imagine it took a lot of time and thought .. I've learned the kingdom of god is like a thousand years in one day for us .. :) it's all good
Hmm... St Ugly .. i could get used to them.

I think it would be a great idea to have a photography thread of its own, were people can share tips, share good knowledge and share there good work in the photography field. I am a keen photographer, and every now and then I would love to get info on the subject also give back the knowledge I have. So yes brilliant idea.

Only the site owner can create new sections of the forums, and in the past 2 years he has not, and a slim chance he will as there likely isn't enough demand.

This is not a photography site.. It's doubtful that people will post modeling pictures of themselves here. And you're only 16, so I will warn you that there are many weirdos on this site, some of whom may PM you.

I've observed that there are plenty of Photography enthusiast on this site. Can we add a specific forum for this topic? I can see that this can also involved some tutorial threads for anyone who wants to start on the field, and those who are professionals can share their knowledge, too. Thanks!!!
I would think one problem this might create is the need for a lot more storage space on disk to handle all the photographs. The space isn't free.

Careful who you trust.
Also be aware that all threads (apart from ladies forums) are open to non members :)

well exactly

there are many reputable photography sharing sites out there and normal, quote, unquote, people that you can connect with that won't exploit a cute 16 year old.

reputable photographers have a portfolio and they are not free

With this thread being from 2013 and the OP having not logged on since 2014 i doubt the OP cares anymore.

But people were talking about it again, and I wanted to bring the space issue to everyone's attention.

I just thought it made you look like you were answering someone no longer user.

Sometimes I am tempted to post pictures, but then I wonder if it's a good idea, since it costs money to store those pictures on computer disk.
