I wish there were an option to make recurring donations. I could set it up thru my online banking but then I'd need an address to mail the checks to.

But then what if you said something deemed inappropriate by the site owner and got banned. The site owner would feel bad, you'd be mad because you are a paying customer, etc. That's just too much drama. :)

Recurring payments might be a good idea on a site that guarantees certain user rights because of payment. But for good reasons, I suspect the site owner would rather not feel obliged to sacrifice principal for profit. Just my opinion. :)

We do have the option for paid memberships that are recurring drafts on a credit or debit card via Paypal. Paid users are in no way immune or given special treatment if they are violating site rules.

I didn't see that option I'll look again. And of course being a regular contributor buys no special consideration. I don't plan on getting banned in the future (but I know I stretch the envelope at times) But I would assume that once banned the recurring payment can be stopped.

RickyZ thanks for wanting to support our site on a regular basis.

Here's a link where you can set the amount and the frequency, for recurring donations:

http://christianchat.com/donate-automatic.php

You don't need a PayPal account, all you need is a debit card or credit card. However it will automatically make a PayPal account for you so that you have control over the automatic payment (so that you can log in and cancel it at any time). You can also ask us to cancel it.
