It would be beneficial for people in other countries especially, as it prevents 80% of cheap packet sniffing software. For anyone reading, please research what HTTPS is before commenting on wether to have it or not. Chances are you're already using HTTPS since over 1,000 websites are using it including Google, which has began enforcing it.
