This is actually a cross-post from: http://christianchat.com/user2user-tech-support/64881-website-not-encrypted-new-post.html

It would be beneficial for people in other countries especially, as it prevents 80% of cheap packet sniffing software. For anyone reading, please research what HTTPS is before commenting on wether to have it or not. Chances are you're already using HTTPS since over 1,000 websites are using it including Google, which has began enforcing it. :)

Even with SSL or HTTPS and others it wount 100% protect you from being hacked. Especially if your running windows. Windows has security wholes big enough to drive a mac truck through. Yes SLL will provent the script kittys from getting your information, but Programmers will find a way to get your information.

Good Passwords:
Car@8218#Dog*Love
Never use the same password for other site and email sites. Alway use a different password.

P.S. my spelling and typing is crappy - I just got up - Long night

NoScript addon and not using Java removes a lot of potential security threats too. I don't think CC is much of a target beyond those who:

A. Hate Christians and Christianity
B. Previous (and perhaps current) memebers who have something personal against staff

Any DDoS attacks against CC lately, Robo?
