This is to suggest another checkbox be included into the settings tab for enabling or disabling the auto-scrolling feature in the chat user interface. That way when someone wants to scroll up to read any chat history they can click the settings tab and uncheck this box, then when done re-check that box for the option (of course by default the box should be checked).
